Iconic yellow cathedral in the heart of Granada. The surrounding area including the restaurants, buildings, main square is just surreal. behind it is a street with open air restaurants with great night atmosphere. A 15 mins walk to Lake Nicaragua.

For $1 USD you can climb the bell tower to see beautiful views of the city. The stairs are pretty narrow and you can see down to the bottom so for people that are afraid of heights it may be difficult to walk up.

What a pleasant surprise to walk into this church and see the traditional Catholic adornment and also the intricate paintings on the ceiling. Who needs the Cistine Chapel??
