Wow, there was so much sand ... beach as far as you could see ... we were there later in the day during the week in September, so it was not busy at all, but saying that there was not much open as well... worth visiting no matter what the weather is like!!

I am in the park, daily, year round. This year, as always park staff are working diligently to keep it clean and safe for visitors.

Aside from some of the most amazing sunsets you will see, there are playgrounds, restrooms, trails and picnic tables for everyone. I am saddened when some people choose to leave their garbage but maintenance crews are quick to clean up.

Speaking of maintenance crews, I need to give a shout out to the two who were in park 4 the other day. I pointed out a branch that was a safety risk and it was dealt with immediately.

Don't forget the visitor centre to see the amazing history of the area.

Close to home! Glad I have the option of visiting Wasaga when I don't have the funds to travel outside. I truly enjoy visiting Wasaga Beach and will definitely be visiting on a yearly basis. I found a great hotel close by blue coast that feels like home. So visiting each year really makes my summer that much better!

Extremely long beach with shallow water. Note that there are no life-guards. Nice surroundings and available activities.

There are quite a few beaches to choose from..We chose Beach #5..it has lots of parking ($18 for the whole day), a beautiful sandy beach, a nice washroom building, picnic areas with shade...water is shallow for quite a long way out..good for small children.

Beach area 3 contains a great dog beach. The sand is white and powdery soft, the beach is wide and the water stays shallow for ages with no rocks or seaweed, making it a very easy place for dogs or young children. The water was clean and clear. Parking isn’t cheap at the park, but if you have an annual pass to the provincial parks (highly recommended), it is free, and we easily found a spot even though it was a nice Sunday in August. There are restrooms available, and some grassy areas with a bit of shade for picnics. Since the water is so shallow, it is fairly warm. Our dog was leaping for joy.

I visited for the first time since the 90s, Back then it was a different crowd. This time around, all I have to say is after this visit I have no intention of returning.
The water was dirty. It was over crowded.
It took a long time to get to the beach as there were long lines to drive in.
You cannot bring your dog unless you go to "beach 3:m but were told by the by-law officers if we sat way up away from the water we could stay???
People of of a certain ethnic group were going into the water with all their clothes on, it was just all too weird for a beach. It felt I was in a different country. And to drag all your stuff just to sit in an area in front of a dirty beach? NO THANX. Not again.

This beach is so dirty and there is absolutely no parking. Prepare to get ticked by Bylaw. Also lots of dogs and their poop.
