Plenty of parking. good trail leading to the rock. One does not have to climb and walk far to have great photo opportunity of this beauty.
my wife walked, drive and road bike all over Sedona to look at these and other rock formations i just can't believe the beauty and how ever long it took to make them
Maybe the most distinctive and beautiful red rock formation in the world and you can hike it!! Stunning at sunset especially in the fall and winter. Worth the trip from Phoenix or Flagstaff. In the village of oak creek with many good restaurants in the village.
Hiked this, impressingly far, with my three kiddos (ages 3, 6 and 8), while my husband with a broken leg sat in the parking lot. The kids had so much fun climbing on the rocks! I almost had a minor heart attack a couple times as the older two liked to run ahead and got far to…
It’s a beautiful place... amazing view and short trail which can be done with kids too... must visit while in Sedona!
