Sign up for a tour (its inexpensive) and learn the history of this building which is inspired the Dante's Inferno. It is an attractive, interesting building in and of itself, and the story behind it is fascinating. At the end you will see Buenos Aires from about 20 floors up. …
Worth going to see as it is a very interesting structure. that said, be prepared for tour groups outside as it is clearly on the fixed route. Each time we were in the area thre we large groups on hte side of the road with the best view...
Palacio Barolo is one of the most incredible works of architecture in the city of Buenos Aires. It is well worth seeing with your own eyes as the pictures don't do it justice. It is immense in scale and thus is very hard to take a good photo of!
Interesting historical building. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, fluent in Spanish (surprisingly easy to follow for Portuguese speakers) and English. Be prepaired to climb several stories and narrow stairs to the coupole at the top.
This building was inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy and is divided into 3 parts. The ground floor and basement are hell; the 1-14 floors are purgatory and the 15-22 floors are heaven. It can only be visited on a guided tour which is available in English and Spanish.
