Went here on an early Friday morning. Recommend to go as soon as the park opens to beat the crowds. Also recommend to hire a guide or go with a tour company who offers tours with a guide. They are able to point out a...More

No line to get in on shoulder season. Bags were checked for food. Lots of locals harassing you at the entrance. Once inside very nice. Did not get tour guide and enjoyed it own our own.

Had an enjoyable morning walking through the park and later along the beach. It was funny seeing the monkeys so close and stealing peoples food. I also nearly walked into a big lizard on the beach. A great way to see some amazing views.

The positive: Of course it’s beautiful. It’s absolutely magnificent- it’s a white sand beach good for swimming. The hike is minimal and there are many other offshoot hikes. The negatives: Getting into the park is an absolute mess Biggest Tourist trap natural place we’ve ever...More

Great nature walk when you take in to account the simple aspect of the park combined with the gentle gentrification of the concrete trail. The put the concrete trail throughout the jungle with site markers throughout. It’s not that large by any measure. Took us...More

Beautiful beaches and the best spot to see monkeys, iguana, small deer and sloths. Also we saw blue morpho butterflies as well as several other colorful types. You can hire a guide, or explore on your own.

Can I just say I was not impressed. First off we almost got scammed and parked 300 meters from the entrance of the entrance if that makes any sense. Then we did get scammed and paid for parking 300 meters from the actual entrance where...More
