We arrived at around 10am and there was quite a bit of parking available around one of the shopping areas (and there was an attendant helping people park and watching the cars in the area). Pretty sure the local parking attendants are working with the...More

Great surfer learning waves. Almost 30 places to have beers and great food. Many more just across the street from the beach.

Small and friendly beach town, with fun shops and great beach front restaurants. Many activities are available on sign up basis no many vendors travel the beach

This is a nice, relatively clean beach. There doesn’t appear to be any lifeguards. Alot of access from bars and restaurants along the beach and a few public roads. Well worth a visit.

Tamarindo beach is busy and populated with lots of locals selling their goods. Everything from necklaces to coconuts. Eating lunch we had to decline at least a dozen people interrupting lunch trying to sell us something. Pretty beach but TOO much touristy stuff!

Could be the time of the year but the water was brown and sand was clumpy. Would want to experience Tamarindo at another time.
