We did not know what we were in for. We thought it was zip lining! But it was so much more. It was zip lining, repelling, AND conquering my fears of jumping into rapid, rushing water. I LOVED the zip ling, and repelling. I was...More

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of our hike through this rainforest. We encountered several colorful birds, coati, bats and insects along the way. The walks across the bridges allowed us up front, breathtaking views of the Rainforest.

Me being a little nervous of heights, I was hesitant to tackle this tour. However, so glad I did! We did a self guided walk which took about 3 hours. The views were amazing and the energy of the rainforest was absolutely incredible. Highly suggest...More

Having visited Costa Rica once before and having a rather adventurous family, we decided to go beyond the usual zipline tours and try a deeper dive (or in this case, “jump”) into the eco-system near Arenal. The Spider Monkey Canyoneering tour at Mistico Bridges was...More

This was one of our favorite experiences at this region because of the beauty of the ecological park but also because of the guide! We debated whether or not to pay the extra $ for the guided tour versus the solo tour and we are...More

This is a nice steady walk with some uphill sections but all done on maintained hard-core paths so not overly challenging at all. At all times during the walk make sure to look out for the wildlife whilst admiring the local flora & fauna. The...More

Definitely pay the extra to go with a guide. Daniel was our guide and he knew so much about everything! We would have never seen 95% of the fauna and flora that he pointed out to us. He was very patient to explain everything we...More

One of our highlights from the Arenal area. Really, the guide wasn't required. There are enough people on the trail that you see a group stopped and look at whatever they are looking at. The group goes at the pace of the slowest person, much...More

This activity, Canyoning Zipline and Jumping Spider is a must do if you are in Arenal, La Fortuna, Costa Rica! The adventure has everything from ziplining, to rapelling, to river jumping and canyoneering! The company we booked with, Mistiko Park, is very reliable and very...More

We visiting in the rain and it was magical. We just arrived and bought tickets and went round ourselves - this was clearly unusual but was really pleasing; a calm and beautiful experience. The bridges are fabulous and wonderfully impressive. It is expensive - but...More

Hi, We went on our own. Aside from the drive we were able to get on a last minute tour when we arrived. I'd suggest you make a reservation with the park and use one of their official tourguides. Enjoy! Ellen
