The Ramon Crater is truly a world wonder. Located in the Negev desert, approximately 2-2.5 hours south of Tel Aviv, it rivals the Grand Canyon in sheer scope and beauty. There are many jeep tours offered but we opted to simply drive down into the...More

Amazing phenomenon of nature. Amazing that this is not as famous as Machu Pichu or the grand canyon. Let's keep this quite and a secret between us. At sunset the most beautiful. And; be careful not to fall down in admiration.

We took a 3 hour Jeep ride through the crater with explanations from our driver. We stopped in the middle for refreshments set up for our group in the middle under a lovely shady tree.

Great Views! My first time in a desert crater. There is nothing extraordinary beside that panorama, but it is a must see of course. You can easily discover that crater for several hours, and see always tiny new things in flora, fauna or stones.
