The island is very beautiful, unfortunately the rulers and the inhabitants do not care for this place. You will find a lot of garbage in and out of the water, the bathrooms are dirty, the restaurants are all very ugly. The island would be better...More

Located just off the Pacific coast, from Panama City, Taboga Island offers a great day trip to get away from it all. The people and shops are friendly and the trip is easy on the wallet!

We took the Taboga Express ferry and spent the night. Unless you want to hike all day, there is absolutely no need to spend the night. There's nothing much to do at all. The island has a fly problem. It seems like they need to...More
