This should be on the "don't miss" list. Outstanding display of art glass opposite Mayan antiquities. The crypt and silver museum also worth a visit

The self-paced tour of Casa Santo Domingo is worth the time. Especially if you love to learn about the history of a place. I enjoyed walking through the older parts of the cathedral, crypt, etc. and liked how newer art installations are also a part...More

Plan to spend several hours wandering through the grounds and museums. There's something to see for every interest - from ancient Mayan artifacts to a modern quilt exhibit. A must-see when in Antigua.

This was a most beautiful museum and grounds to visit. The silver collection, glass collection, paintings and tombs were well presented. I'd recommend eating at their restaurant too. 5 star food for a 3 star price.

Great place to explore. Reasonable admission fee unless you stay at the hotel, then its free. Hotel is worth a glance too. There are macaws hanging out and beautiful flowers.

You do not need air conditioning. It's not that hot in Antigua during the summer. We stayed at Porta Hotel Antigua and just ate at Santo Domingo so I don't know.
