Always bustling with both locals and tourists. Lots of street vendors but never too pushy. A good place to people-watch.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Antigua, this lovely park has a cool fountain and places to walk around. Since I was with a group of ten, we did not get hassled by the artisans trying to sell us things. This is...More

A cute little park to chill and relax with a cup of fresh brewed Guatemalan coffee..many locals will find there way to try and sell you trinkets and such. Not pushy but many of them.

The park is teeming with people . The vendors will try and sell you their stuff and for most part they are not pushy . Bought mango with lime juice and sat and watched the birds and took photos of lovely buildings

Very busy place with a unique fountain, and plenty of semi aggressive street vendors. Overall a place to check out.

Nothing “unusual” or outstanding. It’s a lovely common ground/park area. Lots of locals, crowded and people pushing their wares. If you are looking for someone to give you an impromptu walking tour this would be a good place to start.

Very beautiful plaza. All kinds of shops and food vendors (including a Wendy’s) along the perimeter. Other vendors have push carts. But the vendors, in local garb, are relentless. They hound you even after you tell them no. Very annoying. Takes away from the plaza.

You'll find that most places in Central America will take U.S. currency but you will most likely get a better conversion rate if you have the countries local currency ( Guatemala Quetzal)
