After crossing the Bridge of Americas, this drive removes you from the majority of heavy traffic entering the city. Delightful views of the gorgeous Panama City. Unfortunately no stopping places. Takes you past the Fish Market and onto Balboa and the city.

Lots of Yachts. People walk their dogs, jog and walk along this boulevard . Panama's traffic is very heavy but you can walk and enjoy the view without a car.

This is perfect for a long walk or bike ride along the water. The path links "old" and "new" Panama City and provides a lovely view. I don't recommend going during low tide, however, as there is an extremely unpleasant odor in some areas.

I walked the Cinta Costera plus Amador. Take an uber to Placa de la Democracia at Punta Paitilla. From there you can walk all the way to the end where the soccer stadium Maracaná is. Walking along Cinta Costera 3 around Casco Viejo is very...More

Wide coastal path. Has a bike path as well. Huge park with lots of activities. Links the modern urban center to Casco Viejo and the huge fish market where you can choose from many restaurants to dine. We loved it.

Cinta Costera starts near Punta Paitilla and stretches itself all the way just short of the beginning of the Amador Coastal Way. The transition there is a bit complicated if you want to continue all the way to the end of the Amador Islands, something...More

This is a lovely place to take a walk along the ocean. There are joggers, kids playgrounds, monuments and just an all around lovely walk, If you walk long enough you will see the Panama sign where you can take great photos.

“Cinta Costera” means two things: the express way that runs through the littoral and the pedestrian and bike way that parallels it. The second one is a really nice place to go for a walk in the afternoon, or a run. It is full of...More

It is just a simple boardwalk that was actually funded through the shady funds of that brazilian company involved with corruption. The only good thing of this Cinta Costera is for jogging.....if you can stand the heat and humidity!

Yes, it is a 3 km running path or a perfect 5 km if you loop through Casco Viejo. There is a separate lane for bikes.

Are you asking how much it would cost to do the Cinta Costera in a taxi? You can get around panama city most places for about US$15. A taxi will just take you along the edge of it but on a busy street and you won’t see... More
