I really enjoyed our morning in Casco Viejo. Visit the old churches, shop a bit, enjoy the views of the water and Panama City. I would recommend staying in this area.
Not much to do here but only go to the museum and walk around. the cost to enter was $15 per person.
It really worth a visit. Make sure you go in and have a good look around. A very impressive piece of Panamanian history.
the cathedral was under renovations at the time of travel but th e backdrop and adjacent plaza offered countless photo ops of a historical time warp to the Spanish rule of Panama
Panama La Vieja is all that is left of the original City of the colonial era . It is not much except a few reconstructed walls of the old city . Still it is a favorite for Pamaminian family and picture taking . There is a cat market on Sundays where you can buy good molas
