if you can actuallly speak Spanish and go to see a play and/or concert to this theater, go and do yourself that favor. Warning though: foreigners should go by car/taxi and park on a parking which is off to the side of it but hard...More

First of all. El Saslvador is not dangerous. Yes, you nedd to take care like everywhere else. Went to the National Theater and it is a beauty. Loved it.

This was good but the theatre in Santa Ana is a thousand times better in terms of everything. I went 3 times to find it closed each time until I went back again.

Tip: the area seems safe. We had no problems. Normally locals are nice and helpful. The tourism agency (proyecto Turismo Nocturno) organizes tours at night in this area.
