Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside is a work of art. When the sun is shining just right the windows look beautiful. This is not your usual church. The whole setup is very Avant-garde. There are some interesting pieces or religious art.
This was unexpected. The outside was unassuming. Well there were four bullet holes in the door but other than that!!! Our tour guide (Eduardo form salvadoreña tours) was amazing and insightful. The abstract art was crazy and thoughtful. You have to see this place
Take an Uber to the Plaza de Libertad and definitely pay the 1.50 per person to see. The inside is beautiful with the natural light and read about the history. You can still see bullet holes in the facade from the massacre in late 70s.
