Our guided tour included 45 minutes in the private garden which is across the road from the Church of the Agony. It was quiet, peaceful, no crowds, very meaningful and it was a special time of meditation and prayer. Of course, we had to leave...More

While you're on the Mount of Olives, a must stop site. Garden is lovely and very peaceful, so stop and ponder the historical significance of where you are.

If you are Christian you want to say you were at the garden. It is a line of people walking past the garden (very small - you stay along a path outside the garden) thru a small church and out the exit. The end.

My mother-in-law as a Christian expected to find an oasis of quiet, instead you find couple of old olive trees within stone walls and paths. Not really worth the visit

This was an amazing and spiritual place where Jesus prayed before He was arrrested and cruicifed for you and me to take away our sin and conquer death. The place brings the Bible to life when you read about the places Jsus was.

Hello. I took a picture of the operating hours at their door. Summer ( April - Sept ) from 8am -6pm. Winter ( Oct - March ) 8am-5pm. We went there during early hours to avoid the crowds.
