Many tour groups meet up outside of Jaffa Gate, and it is an easy point of entry for the Jewish or Armenian Quarters. The Tower of David entry is just inside the gate.
The Jaffa gate is one of the entrances to the old city. You enter the Christian part when going in the Jaffa gate in the mornings there are lots of people selling beautiful sweet bread for breakfast that gives you a good kick for a day exploring the old city
