The epic sight of mankind. Sustained over centuries, enduring many wars, it still stands today as sacred as ever. Much more touristy and commercialized today, last visited more than 30 years ago, the “ the UNESCO” grounds remains in tact.

The western wall was easy to get in to, lots of people but not crowded. They have head-covers for free to use (they are required for men). I thought this was a great place to go.

Little interpretation provided. Orthodox are too controlling (still separating men (into a better section) from women.

The area is big enough and has room enough for you to reflect. You are not rushed or hustled. It is your time to contemplate and be at a peace.

We were with Abercrombie and Kent and loved the guide Ramzi. He’ll go any pace you like.
