I've been here several times - but a word of warning - the insects can be vicious! Cover up and get out that repellent. The road in wiggles through a hilly landscape covered in bush, and there are several WWII huts to look at - one (an explosives store) is preserved as a museum

A well maintained park with great views of Darwin. Free BBQs and picnic tables. plenty of shade. Close to the city too (by car anyway). make sure you have a look at the intersting information in the WWII bunker.

Even if you don't want to walk much you can visit, by car, the old WWII bomb sites which explain to you some great history of the time. The walks and even bike riding cater for all types of activity.
