I love to start my day with a great cup of coffee and the best muffins at the Radio Cafe! Always bright and cheerful.

My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained the art exhibits in the various rooms.

I was surprised to find it a donation instead of a charge to go! We enjoyed the artists and the lady was kind enough to come and check on us and explain different nuances of the art as well as give us a little more information about the artists themselves.

The gift shop is quaint and has lovely one of a kind items.

It was a great way to spend a leisurely afternoon close to home.

I attended the gallery on Open Doors day and was pleasantly greeted by the director of the gallery who commenced on taking me on a private tour of the exhibits. She was very informative and told me about all of the services offered, such as art classes, lectures, meeting space and framing services. I found the current artist's exhibits to be very interesting, though the gallery was smaller than I expected. They also have a cafe and a gift shop.

The Maclaren is a small gallery which has rotating exhibits. It doesn't take long to wander through it, and it has free entry-although you can put a donation in the donation box. There is a very good gift shop with locally made wares. There is also a very good cafe, which serves great lunches and coffee.

I feel that any community, and or town that has their own local high profile art gallery speak volume about their appreciation for the arts. This is a major level art gallery containing a wonderful collection of fine art. Simply top notch! International artist would be thrilled to exhibit their artwork in such a venue. Koodo's to Barrie for having such a classy art gallery.

The gallery offers a wide selection of artist's works! I found many wonderful treasures in the gift shop - all crafted by local artists! And Radio Cafe was an added bonus - great food and wonderful experience!

Went here for lunch. Modest selection of healthy wholesome food, including wraps, quiches, salads and cakes. Great coffee, and also alcohol is available. The highlight though is the space in which you sit to enjoy your coffee or lunch. Inside you can eat in the modern airy coffee shop or the atrium adjoining the art gallery, outside is a delightful courtyard patio, which is a tranquil little oasis. Will be coming here often.
