Mont Blanc is the highest peak in the Alps, and this customizable tour lets you experience it from all angles on a day trip from Geneva. Choose from a range of options including exploring Chamonix and Mont Blanc independently, riding the cogwheel railway to Montenvers, soaring to the summit of Aiguille du Midi on the cable car, and enjoying a delicious 3-course lunch in Chamonix.

What to Expect

Make your own way to the central bus station in Geneva to meet your guide. Traveling aboard an air-conditioned coach, set out on the scenic journey to Chamonix. After crossing the border into France, admire the views as you wind through the Alps, and look out for your first sighting of Mont Blanc as you arrive in Chamonix.

Depending on the tour option selected, either spend the day at your leisure in Chamonix, at the foot of Mont Blanc, or enjoy various activities. Options include a cable car ride to the summit of Aiguille du Midi; a cogwheel railway ride to Montenvers, where you can look out over the glaciers of Mer de Glace; and a scrumptious 3-course lunch at one of Chamonix’s traditional restaurants.

At the end of the day, meet back up with your guide for the return journey to Geneva.

Please note: The Aiguille du Midi is closed for annual maintenance from Nov. 6 to Dec. 15.
