This tour is wonderful. Our guide Jason was very well informed about the culture and different areas of the island. He also knew exactly where we would be able to see turtles, and he was correct. We thought that lunch was included in the price of the tour, however that wasn’t the case, so be prepared to pay about $18 a plate for lunch. We didn’t get to go to the coffee farm, because of construction, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience of the trip.
This tour definitely makes me want to come back to explore more in depth the areas of the island that we saw.

Our tour guide was Kelly! She was funny, informative, had great stories, and tried to make sure we all had fun! Our first real bathroom break was a long wait for the womens' at a small, not so clean restroom inside a souvenir shop. The sights were nice, snorkeled at a rocky, murky beach, and saw turtles at a beach across from the nut farm. I sat in the back of the bus, and I was not sure if the A/C was getting to us as the unit was above us pointing to the front of the bus. The bus is packed and you might not get to sit with your party. There was complimentary snacks and drinks. I'm not sure if more expensive tours are better since this was my first ever, but I think you get what you pay for and you get to see most of the big things on the island.

A great opportunity to see a bit more of the island from the usual Waikiki haunts. Pick up was easy and the layout of the day ahead was clear. I must say the lack of a microphone made it quite hard to hear down the back, especially when the music was playing.
The day went well and we saw what we needed to see. The obligatory stops at souvenir stores and a standard “you pay” lunch stop were expected and a lot of fun.
We missed out on swimming with turtles as North Beach swells were too big and would apparently kill us… unless you “knew what you were doing in the water”
At no time however, we’re we asked if we indeed did know how to deal with the sea!
We had a good swim at a beach but the snorkelling was disappointing. Much better visibility at Waikiki… and we saw turtles!
All in all, very good value however I would recommend the tour guides use microphones and if there is a significant departure from advertised highlights (turtles) then this is made clear up front.
Aloha

It was myself, hubby and our 4 kids (10,12,14,16). Expensive, (even with Groupon),We got picked up and Continued for 45 min to pick up others. We were rushed through sites like the macadamia nut visit, given an hour to snorkel at “turtle bay” which you can’t swim Because it’s all rocky. Turtles exist and best to see from land. And our bus didn’t even have snorkel gear. We had to
Wait 20minutes for another bus to arrive that had then! HOWEVER we spent plenty of time at the stupid strip mall “go buy stuff. On multiple occasions!)
Everything is cash only. I was told lunch was included and then we were charged $14/playe for Cold food. My coconut shrimp=cold and nasty Because it was not Even like warm. For kids I’d buy subway (at the stop they
Two you to get cash. It’s cheaper and they’ll enjoy it more).
It was disappointing because we would pull to a wayside lookout- get off bus and take a picture and get back on and they called that a stop. We were rushed only to be told we were ahead of schedule so we gor a full tour of Bingham Young University (church of Laterday Saints/Mormon) For 25 minutes. Who cares about that? I’d rather have spend More time elsewhere. Oh- and of
The 16 we only actually a topped at 5-6. We Sedona didn’t get what we were told...donuts? Didn’t exist.
At the end, after the dole Plantation we were told it was straight home...nope. Another stop at a coffee place for 10 Minutes.
Our tour guide was mediocre. Said “Kay” or “okay” every single sentence and talk non stop. I wish we had not already booked through them for Our “Pearl Harbor and city tour”. Go elsewhere!

All day island tour with multiple stops for a brief time. It’s a great way to see a lot of the island and make choices about where you might want to return to later in your trip to explore more. You do spend a lot of time in the bud driving between stops and each stop you’re at for around 20 minutes. The driver and your guide we had was very friendly, funny and educational. He provided a lot of great local knowledge about historical sights, culture and other places to consider visiting. Some of the stops we made could have been skipped like a random souvenir shop. At the snorkeling beach we did see 4-6 sea turtles and some great surfing. That stop was the longest, we stayed for 1 hour 15 minutes. This is a very short amount of time to change, swing, dry off and change again. The water was too rough to snorkel in. It’s more of a swimming spot that sea turtles frequent. The lunch was not included in the price. We were made to feel like we needed to order lunch from one of our stops at the Macadamia nut farm. The lunch was terrible! The next stop we went to was the Dole Plantation and they had much better lunch options. I would suggest bypassing lunch at the Nut farm and getting food at Dole. All in all it was a good tour with a lot of sight seeing. This is a good trip to take if you’re looking for a bus ride around the island to see as much as you can in an 8 hour day. This is not an in-depth look at anything, just a quick stop to get a taste.

First, our bus did not have working air conditioning at the front of the bus. The vents were taped shut and we were simply told that “they weren’t working.” Then there was a bridge collapse (which was not the tours fault) so our driver, Neil, had to reroute with no direction. When we would ask where we were going, he would just tell us that he was going to the next stop.
The bus did not have enough snorkeling equipment for all the passengers on the bus. We asked for ours and Neil just said, “there is no more.” My response to him was that we were passengers and wanted to snorkel too which was the true reason we booked this trip. Someone else had to provide us with the equipment. He decided where we were going to eat and only gave us 5 options from the food truck. By the time we were half way through the trip, most were frustrated and wanted off the bus. Neil complained quite a bit that he had a migraine headache and he didn’t want to be on this tour. He also made it known that it was his day off and the bus was not his regular bus. I do not recommend this tour nor this driver.

Let me start by saying the driver/ your was amazing
, he tried his best to handle the situation and give us a tour. Here is my theory of what happened, for some reason the company didn’t have any tour guides and or drivers and probably called him on his day off to do both drive and vibe is a tour. We were supposed to be picked up at 8am at a location that was later changed by company which was still not bad as it was a 8 minute
Walk. We arrived at Duke Paoa statue at 7:50 to be on time (stay away from this area) driver did not arrived till 8:50am said he was sorry, tour and driver had called out and he would do it all, to bare with him as he was nervous and has never done tour guide. This is why my 2 starts are for driver if I could I would do 5 for him NOT the company. Any way let’s just say my son birthday day tour was not what we expected and PAID $480+ tips for.
Lesson learned.

More accurate descriptions of activities. Several stops were merely gift shops with no tours, demonstrations, or useful information. The lunch venue was another gift shop with substandard food and grossly inadequate facilities. Communication with passengers regarding stops was inadequate. Stops were not as presented (no shrimp truck). The bus broke down and passengers were not given timely updates regarding repair or pickup time. The one high point was our knowledgeable guide.

The trip was saved by the remarkable driver "King Mike" Hewas very thorough explaining the history and what we were seeing. He had great stories, great sense of humor, and he did not mind that I was in a wheelchair. The tour was very nice, especially stopping at several places to take photos. The steak lunch was not good, especially for the price! The steak was cut into big chunks rather than the slices the photo showed. Half of my steak was inedible due to so much grissel. I spoke to others who had the same, and they had the same experience. Lastly, being in a wheelchsr I had inquired if the trip was disabled accessible, and was told yes. The Walk-in snorkeling was NOT Disabled Accessible. The sand was too soft for my wheelchair. When I did get to a spot where I couldreach the water, it was awful. Waves were so choppy they knocked me down. Several people tried to help me up, but my feet kept sinking. Finally a man offered his surf board. I got on it and they pulled me to shore. I was so embarrassed. King Mike saved the day cheering me up. I'd do another tour with "King Mike," but I woud not recomended this tour to anyone that loves to snorkel or is disabled.

Uncle was our driver and Kaimana our tour guide, who were honestly both laidback and fun. Overall the tour was great. I loved all the beautiful views, fruit stands, snorkeling, macadamia nuts and best of all the Dole Ice cream. The only slight disappointment is the 20 dollar lunch that had no flavor and 90% of the bus also agreed. There were so many other good things to eat along the way that my chubby butt survived.

Yes, there is a pick up location and when you book, you should receive a follow up email or text with the pick up time/window..
Hi! Where can I see a list of pick up times? I chose Hilton Waikiki Beach as my pickup point during checkout but I cant find information on when to be there for pickup?

Hi, you need to contact the company as they only have a few designated pick up and drop off points. The Twin is possibly the closest in Waikiki

Do we need to have certain shoes on for snorkeling? Should we have water shoes or would Crocs work?
No shoes needed but crocs should work just fine. Water shoes are great too. The area you’ll be snorkeling is mostly clear beach with relatively minimal coral. That also means relatively fewer fish to see. Lots of tourists but still nice but I didn’t see anything.
We were inspired by the trio to return the following day to adjacent beaches which had more coral and shoes were needed there. TONS of tropical fish in/around the coral areas, which are super sharp so shoes a must.
Hi! I was wondering what time this tour goes to approximately?

it's late afternoon. It all depends on where you are in the drop-off schedule. We were the last couple to be dropped off, so it was a little later for us.

By Waikiki it's the Aston waikiki hotel. Lots of island shuttles make stops there
