      12/10 would recommend!
I expected to have a good time on our RVATukTuk tacky lights tour, but it was even more fun than I thought it would be! My partner and I had friends visiting from out of town and we all had a blast. Our driver, Anne, really helped make the experience great. She was so accommodating- taking photos of our group for us, stopping when we wanted to get out and look at a house more closely, providing little tidbits of info about various houses and landmarks...also, she was just very friendly and fun! The heated seats, cozy blanket, and ability to BYOB were fun little bonuses. So, book your tour and request Anne as your driver. You won't be disappointed!

It's a great way to see the city, but its not well cushioned
Its fund and interesting, but I would bring a seat cushion. You really get a feel for the area, you have to book ahead of time

      Tacky Light tour
This is a great way to see the city and all of the lights during the holiday season. The view of downtown from Oregon Hill was my favorite part. Our driver was kind and considerate. The tuktuk was clean. The Christmas music selection was surprisingly not annoying for late December.

A must do when visiting this amazing city
This was the best fun and most clever way to start the visit of a city ever. Richmond is so packed with things to see and do that its hard to know where to start. We suggest this as a must way to start. The trip is an hour and a half and takes you to every important site and location and gives you a perfect way to identify where you should go back and spend more time. Its comfortable and our guide, Matt was so informative. Do it!

Fun Ride to the Drive in Drag Show
We really enjoyed our ride on the Tuk Tuk . Perfect ride for the drive in Drag Show. Lots of fun. The driver was on time and did very nice. I would highly recommend for some socially distant fun

A great way to experience Richmond
Tuk Tuk is a great way to have fun, even during a Pandemic. The open air vehicle whisked us around the Capital City while we enjoyed beverages and the view. Customize your own route. Stop to try a beer or two and grab a quick bit. Our driver, Gordon was a delight. We will definitely make this a routine activity. The tour is only limited by your imagination. Can't wait for our next Tuk Tuk Adventure!

      Great Team Building Event
We had a wonderful time on RVA TukTuk. The driver picked us up at our office and took us to Scott’s Addition. We went to a brewery and then to the new gaming place Slingshot. My mortgage team enjoyed the experience and we plan on doing this again. What a fun time !

While I really wanted to love this experience I am giving it a barely passing grade. First, getting into the vehicle was extremely difficult due to the extremely high step up into the seats. I literally had to crawl into the space. The area between the seats was barely 18” if that wide… far too narrow for the six adults on the ride. Our knees touched, our feet were tangled together with those on the sides left to dangle their feet into the well where the first totally inadequate step was. There certainly should have been some cautions on load limits as cramped doesn’t even come close to describing the painful circumstances of the ride. With the canopy on the vehicle, it was difficult to see anything of the murals we were supposed to be viewing. Even switching side’s didn’t improve the view.

Now for the bright light of tour…the guide. He was engaging, good natured, knowledgeable, and attentive…managing to sift thru the chatter of the participants and answer questions with humor and charm. He was also an extremely good driver, skillfully avoiding being broadsided by an idiot who ran a red light. The people on the ride also made heroic efforts to make the best of the painful situation.

So bottom line, provide a better step up into the vehicle, don’t seat more than 4 adults max. Plan the route with sight lines in mind so the participants can see what they are paying for.

We apologize for your discomfort. These vehicles seat up to six average sized people. The waiver you sign when booking provides a total passenger weight limit to help people judge vehicle capacity.

It was our first visit to Richmond and we chose RVA Tuk Tuk to provide unique experience to get an overview of what the city had to offer.

Tara, our enthusiastic and knowledgeable driver/guide showed us the different sections and highlights of the city.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend RVA Tuk Tuk tours.

Great experience, as Jeff was extremely informative, insightful and entertaining. He toured us around the city providing a ton of historical background for the neighborhoods, the tourist sites, and stopped at several places so we could take some great pictures (the view of the river is amazing!). He even provided a great suggestion for lunch (Tarrant's was fantastic!). Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an enjoyable time learning about the city and seeing some great architecture dating back centuries.

Came in early for a soccer tournament and wanted to find a way to see a bunch of Richmond in a short amount of time. I’m also a sucker for unique experiences. Richmond Tuk Tuk hit the mark on BOTH counts. We felt like we saw all the highlights of Richmond, got amazing stories about its rich history (including a view about how Richmond is changing), and great restaurant recommendations! Our guide, Martha, was fantastic and based on the waves, honks and call outs - is very popular. We felt so lucky. Had a great time and we HIGHLY recommend! Best 1.5 hours spent!!

My coworkers and I went out a brewery tour with RVA TukTuk and had an amazing time! The drivers were so friendly and helpful in deciding where to go and were happy to take us around anywhere we wanted. They were prompt in responding to all questions while booking and the drivers were right on time for pickup. We absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend!

Six friends and myself were able to share two tuk tuks and we had a lot of fun. You're able to bring your own alcohol as long as it's in a closed container. We started at Mainline and got to go through the VCU campus which was a nice trip down memory lane, we stopped at a brewery, then rode through Hollywood cemetery. You're able to play your own music and both drivers were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

We had a driver who was in his first day and he drove so fast we couldn’t see much. He did stop when we asked and was a nice guy, but it was clear he had received no training or instruction oh how to do a tacky lights tour. Everyone in our party asked him to slow down at some point, but overall we left disappointed because it was an expensive 1.5 hours. We had fun, but I don’t think I’d do this again or recommend to others.

Your driver did receive training. It was not his first tour. He made multiple non Tacky Light stops to accommodate your requests. Unfortunately he was concerned that you would not get to see as many of the light displays because of these stops and may have rushed through the end of the tour as a result. We agree that going slower and seeing fewer displays would be a better approach.

We highly recommend this fun way to get acquainted with a new city. This was our first visit to Richmond Va. and our driver John showed us all the hi lights in about 90 minutes. He was knowledgeable, filled with local information and made the whole experience fun! He gave us an overview of the different neighborhoods, shared some of Richmonds rich history, and he gave us suggestions on activities we might enjoy for the remainder of our stay. The TukTuk electric vehicle was very cool, so that made our experience even more fun.
John showed up exactly on time and was kind enough to drop us off at a local restaurant for lunch.

Excellent tour with Matt. Personable, knowledgeable, professional. Chilly day but Matt arranged a wind shield, blankets and the heated seats. He entertained a family ranging in age from 10 - 70 with his interesting info and stories.

We set up a 2-hour Custom Tour and gave the driver some ideas we wanted to highlight. We started at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, went to the Byrd Park lakes, thru The Fan, and on to Hollywood Cemetary. Martha, our guide knew a lot of neat facts about the artifacts. We stopped at the Virginia War Memorial to pay our respects. Our return trip was checking out the murals in the Jackson Ward neighborhood. We were allowed to pack a cooler so we enjoyed cocktails on the trip!
