A note from Tony Knowles Coastal Trail Scenic Bike Tour
In order to limit guide exposure, this tour will be out-and-back rather than point-to-point for Summer 2021. We still bike in Kincaid Park, enjoy Cook Inlet views at Point Woronof, and visit Earthquake Park. This also doubles our chance to see moose! This leisurely ride covers about 10 miles total.

From Airplanes to Plants
Sep 2021
Our guide, Caitlan, was knowledgable about the plants and wildlife along the trail, and warned us about the uphills before we reached the inclines. It was fascinating to see that the tide dropped 38 feet, and the site of the severe earthquake in 1987 was impressive.

Fun Paved Path Bike Ride
Sep 2021
Almost leisurely bike ride along the paved Coastal Trail. Several stops for our excellent guide, Caitlyn, to tell us some history and lore and fun facts. No wildlife guarantee, but we saw a cow moose very up-close and personal. Solid, well maintained bikes and equipment. (Longer would have been better, but we got what we booked, so that is not a critique.)

Great ride
Sep 2021 • Couples
Our guide, Katlyn was great at showing us wild life and set the pace at our level, which was slow going up the couple of hills on our path. The bikes were good and the gear comfortable. Would highly recommend this tour and the company.

Biking & wildlife spotting along the trail
Elly was an awesome guide. She took us along a beautiful trail and provided interesting information about the state and it’s economy & history at the same time. She was very upbeat & approachable. She also spotted a mama and a baby moose - the baby only 10 feet off the trail - and kept us safe while we enjoyed an extra long stop to watch the moose eating (while mama watched from the bushes). Would definitely recommend.

Awesome experience
Aug 2021
This was a fantastic informative bike tour- Ellie and Frankie were so knowledgeable (able to answer all questions from our group ages 10-50) and fun! The pickup at the Anchorage Visitors Center was smooth, as was the return to our hotel. A definite must do if you are in Anchorage!!!
