See Victoria, British Columbia on a full-day trip from Seattle aboard the Victoria Clipper, a passenger-only ferry that follows a scenic route through the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands. In taking to water, you avoid the long drive to Canada and have time to explore Victoria’s historic downtown, harbor, and gardens before the return trip to Seattle, traveling on a boat with comfortable seats, a cafe, and duty-free shops.
What to Expect

Make your way to Seattle’s Pier 69 for an early morning departure, bringing your US passport, passport card, enhanced driver’s license, or enhanced ID card for arrival in Canada.

Settle into a comfortable seat, and enjoy views of the Puget Sound as you cruise to Vancouver Island, watching for whales, seals, and birds along the way. There’s a duty-free shop on board, as well as cafes and outdoor viewing decks. Upon arrival in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, set out for a day of exploring the historic city, the capital of British Columbia, on your own.

You might browse downtown shops, visit the Empress Hotel for high tea, or make your way to the sprawling Butchart Gardens just outside of town.

At the end of the day, return to the Inner Harbour for the trip back to Seattle, enjoying late evening light as you retrace a path through the San Juan Islands.

When I started planning my trip to Seattle I knew coming all the way up I had to least travel to Canada. The Ride on the Clipper was smooth and very packed, and plenty of crew members to answer questions about Victoria, and plenty of...More

We started our vacation by flying to Tacoma - Seattle area to visit my niece who is working as a traveling R.N. The second day we were there, we took the Victoria Clipper to Victoria, British Columbia. The boat ride was awesome, servers took your...More

Very comfortable high speed ferry to Victoria

The Victoria Clipper provided very fast transportation to Victoria, giving us a whole extra day to tour instead of a travel day on a conventional ferry. Competent, friendly crew, efficient and on time. A very pleasant, quick trip.

Long day but great experince

Boat was comfortable and food/beverage options good, staff friendly and helpful. Make sure you arrive at least an hour before boarding starts as the checkin line at Seattle was long, I didn’t have time to use the restroom or grab a coffee. I bought the...More
