Overview
Step inside of the oldest and most famous of New Orleans “cities of the dead” on an official guided tour St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. The tour was fantastic! The small group allowed the tour to move more quickly and allow for better communication. The guide was able to provide better details and was very well informed.

Thanks, Chris! We are so honored that you chose us to show you around, and we are so happy that you had a good time touring the cemetery with James. We absolutely love so many things about keeping our groups small - we can communicate with our guests before and after the tour, we can answer questions and customize the route and content to our guests interests, and we can seek out the shade! Please tour with us next time you are in New Orleans! Thank you for taking the time to write a review for Lucky Bean Tours. Libby

If you’re interested in a small group (we had 4!) with a knowledgeable and authentic New Orleans historic storyteller- this is the tour for you. Libby is a wonderful guide and you will learn so much accurate (I briefly listened in on an adjacent tour with way more people, the

All the other guides are telling it wrong! Just kidding, this city is full of talented historians and tour guides who are eager to share the history of New Orleans with visitors, but we pride ourselves on an easygoing, storytelling style and customizing our tours to the interests of our guests. Small group size is essential to the appeal of a Lucky Bean tour. A group of 28 is simply a walking lecture, not a conversation. Thank you for choosing Lucky Bean and thank you for leaving a review to help us grow as a company. I hope we get to walk and talk through this creole sub-tropical lushness again one day!

Myself and my partner had a tour with Charles who was an excellent guide to not just the cemetery but New Orleans in general. When someone is telling you about the history of a site it's more than just reeling off facts, it's about the context and culture that things sit in and

I am happy that he showed you and your partner some good New Orleans hospitality while you were here and I hope you come back for some more great history and culture one day. Thanks for the review!

Libby is an excellent storyteller. Smaller group so it was easy to have a conversation. We enjoyed her knowledge and enthusiasm about the colorful history of the people and families buried in this historical cemetery.

We love love love the cemetery! Honestly, we could walk around the cemeteries of this city all day every day. So we are particularly happy when we get to show a guest or two around and share our observations. Thank you for noticing the advantages of a small group, including the "conversational" component of the tour. Lucky Bean tours really are like walking and talking with a history nerd friend. Thanks for reviewing and please come and tour with us again!

Thank you so much! We really appreciate and value every review - we are so grateful for the success we have had so far, and we are aware that it is entirely due to our guests taking the time to tell the world about their Lucky Bean experience! We all love the cemetery and the stories it offers, and relish every opportunity to tell them to visitors. It is a special place and I am happy that you took the time to see it while you were here. We hope to see you again!
