Overview

Cruise the Savannah riverfront on a boat tour that fits your interests and schedule. From brunch to lunch to dinner and even sunset and sightseeing cruises, there is a cruise for every traveler. Some tours are fully narrated, while others focus on the sights as they drift by. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, as are food and drinks (included on some cruises), with a cash bar available.

What to Expect

Meet about 30 to 60 minutes before your cruise time to exchange your voucher at the Savannah Riverboat Ticket Office at 9 East River Street.

There are multiple cruise options on the Savannah River Queen available. Depending on your choice, you will embark on a lunch cruise, brunch cruise, dinner cruise, sunset cruise, sightseeing cruise, party cruise, or gospel cruise.

Once boarded, choose your seat, either heading indoors to the climate-controlled dining and observation deck, or outdoors to the upper deck for sunbathing. On most tours, you’ll hear city history and fun facts about Savannah as you float and take in the sights, although a few tours do not include narration.

Iced tea, lemonade, soft drinks, or coffee are included with all dining cruises, and some cruises feature live entertainment. All cruises include an open bar.

Your boat returns to the original departure point at the end of your cruise.

Very Enjoyable...Relax

I just went through other previous reviews for this riverboat tour and have to say, I think most reviewers expected the majesty of a Mediterranean cruise ship. It's a river, it's a boat, if you are with people you enjoy, then enjoy it and relax....More

Good, Informative Cruise

We enjoyed the river cruise very much. The amount of detail they presented about the history of the river was very interesting.

Don't Bother

Don't bother with this tour. It's a waste of time and money. The Savannah River is loaded with industry. But, If you like looking at cargo ships, this might be for you. Although the captain seemed personable. the crew was not. The staff in the...More

Typical tourist-boat cruise, nice orientation for first-time visitors

We didn't book this in advance, as we wanted flexibility vs. the weather. We were visiting Savannah over Easter weekend (end of March) and Saturday afternoon turned out to be cool and sunny. We walked from our hotel to a restaurant downtown, and then bought...More

You can buy them in their office before the cruise or you can buy them ahead of time. I purchased them over the phone because it was a Christmas Eve cruise and I wanted to make sure we had tickets. Either way you have to go... More

I took the daylight cruise like Sandra. The best thing for you to do is to call Riverboat Cruises in Savannah at 912-232-6404 and ask. If you go to their website, they have an email address you can write to, but calling... More
