Overview
Beat the big crowds at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island with this early-access tour. Enjoy special early-morning priority boarding for the ferry, and then cruise over to Liberty Island before most of the crowds arrive. Follow a guide on a tour of two of New York City’s most iconic landmarks as you learn about their significance to the US and world history.
What to Expect
Meet for this early-access Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island tour at Pier A Harbor House. Spend some time visiting the nearby memorials with your guide. Then be one of the first passengers to board your ferry for the ride over to Liberty Island.
At the Statue of Liberty, take a guided tour that leads you up to the pedestal for stunning views. Your guide tells you stories along the way as you get to see the statue closer than with any other standard visit.
Hop back on the ferry for the short ride to Ellis Island. Learn all about the complicated immigration progress people went through as your guide takes you through the collection of interactive displays.
At the end of your tour, either take the ferry back to Battery Park with your guide or stay on Ellis Island to explore more before returning on your own.

Worthwhile tour; great guide

We were two adults and two kids in this tour. We really enjoyed the Statue of Liberty part. The kids did not find Ellis Island as fun, but it is worth going as we spent about an hour there and there is always an option...More

It was very easy to find our tour guides’ location and our tour guide, Jacob, was really great. I’m glad we took a guided tour cause otherwise I would have really missed the history and backstory to the Statue of Liberty. With the booked tour,...More

Fantastic

I'm sure we got so much more out of visiting this monument by being led by the personable and knowledgeable guide, Rob. He was efficient, friendly and brought the stories to life. He engaged our 9-year-old and kept him interested for 4 hours!

Absolutely amazing!

Our tour guide Rob was brilliant. So knowledgable and interesting to listen to his families links with the immigration through Ellis island. Cannot recommend this enough!

Like Taylor states, the crown is an additional cost and the waiting list is quite long. It has to be booked seperatley and would not form part of the tour.

Honestly, we didn’t notice any parking lots in the area. I guess it would have to be in the streets nearby. The easiest way is to take the subway. There’s two stations that come out in the park and then it’s a short 3-5... More

Yes you get to visit the museum with this tour and you go up to the top of the pedestal. The pedestal is basically the base that the statue stands on. From there you can look up into the inside of the statue however you do... More
