- mariefE1756YA0 contributionsSo fantastic! Learned a lot about fashion and New York! Our tour leader was Denise, she did a fantastic job! We learned so many fun facts about different buildings and brands all the way up fifth avenue, we also stopped to see some of the best interior designs (great for pictures)! So glad we booked this tour. It’s like the best Vogue article ever but live! The tour group was a mix of locals and tourists. We also got some great recommendations for what to go back to and where to get food afterwards. If you like fashion, design, and architecture this is THE tour for you!Written 24 June 2019

I took this tour with a friend of mine as we are both Christmas "elfs". We took the Window Walking Tour while the holiday windows were on view. We both live in the city and wanted to try something new and we both work in hotels and were interested in recommending a different type of tour for our guests. I came away from this tour extremely impressed. The tour guide, Bret, was fantastic. He was knowledgable, patient, and fun. Three very important characteristics. He answered all our questions and gave us information we didn't already know (and I have lived here for over 17 years!!). I would highly recommend this tour. If you love fashion and NY, you will love this tour. Please go and experience, you will not regret the two hours that will entertain and enlighten you.

This was a mom and daughter trip. We have a family apparel business in Texas. So we knew we wanted to do a Christmas windows tour. We did the tour the day we arrived in NYC. so glad we did the tour. it helped us with navigating in New York. It was a two hr. tour on foot we covered alot of ground, be sure to wear comfortable shows and proper attire. The guide gave us ear phones so if we had tons of traffic on the sidewalk and didnt stay close together we could still hear her. The guide gave us tons of history of all the known dept stores and their awesome Christmas windows. The tour turned out to be more than what we expected. Would recommend this tour. Its a must.

Windoswear fashion walking tour was absolutely amazing, overall I found it very informative and inspirational.
I was visiting NYC for a university trip and we went on a few tours in New York and I thought this one was the most creative and different. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and answered all questions that was put to her with great passion and insight. I particularly enjoyed discovering the work that goes into creating exceptional Windows.
I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in fashion or wants to experience a tour with a creative edge.

My daughter and I took the Windows Wear tour on Saturday, June 20. I felt that the tour was amazing as we learned how the window themes are determined, how they are decorated, and the history of the building, stores, fashion and neighborhood. I've taken several walking tours in NYC when visiting my daughter and felt that this was at the top of my best tour experiences. Jon was very knowledgeable and engaging with the group. I feel that this tour is a must during the holiday season and will definitely do it again in December with friends. Lynn T

As a native New Yorker, participating in touristy activities is unheard of. On a normal basis, we do not stop to smell the flowers, but rather speed walk down the streets, ignoring the beauty of this gorgeous city. New York City is an epicenter for shopping, and people from all over the world visit with the anticipation of loading up their luggage with new clothes and/or accessories. As large department stores attract millions of customers per year, they invest in distinct and impressive window displays to showcase their products...which I never really paid any mind to. Generally, I go in, shop, and leave.
My friend actually suggested for us to try this tour, and I thought, why not? I'm glad I did because it opened up my eyes to a different realm of abstract art x fashion. Our tour guide, Bret, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He thoroughly answered any and all questions in a clear and concise manner. We perused window displays of many stores on 5th Avenue and Madison. From large department stores like Bloomingdales to specialty stores like Christian Dior, Bret was on point. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who appreciates fashionable art and wants an exclusive taste of NYC.

Windowswear gives an incredible tour of New York city's most noted fashion stores. The window displays were all amazing. The tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He brought my attention to important aspects that go into the art of window exhibitions; as well as insight on the history and background of these stores. The tour was both interesting and entertaining. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in fashion or someone who is looking for a fun activity to do while in NYC!

The tour I took today with Denise was fabulous. She is an expert in designing window displays, and walked us up Fifth Avenue to many of the upscale stores such as Tiffany's, Bergdorf Goodman, Zara, and Coach while commenting on the design and structure of the window displays. We all learned a lot while having so much fun. Her knowledge of Art Deco architechure was an unexpected bonus.

I loved the experience of this fashion walking tour. A lot of interesting info was provided. I felt so comfortable when walking on the 5th av. I was lucky since it was the fashion week in NY and could be the first to see the newest of fashion in NY!!! My tourist guide was so brilliant and super cool!!! She was all the time supportive and very nice! She is passionate about fashion and encouraged me to know more about it. She knows a lot of New York too. This is a must in a trip to N.Y. Will recommend to my friends =)
