Big Apple Helicopter Tour of New York
From US$209.00
It might seem impossible to see the highlights of New York City in just 15 minutes, but this small-group helicopter tour makes it a reality. Listen to commentary from your pilot as you fly by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Central Park, the Chrysler Building, and other landmarks. You’ll see more of the city on this tour than you would in an entire day of exploring by foot.
What to Expect
After booking, call the tour company to reserve your preferred time. The tour leaves every half hour from the Downtown Manhattan Heliport. Arrive 30 minutes prior to your flight, and be prepared to pay the $40-per-person heliport fee.

After boarding the helicopter, sit back and enjoy the panoramic views as your pilot (and guide) narrates the sights through your personal headset. Fly over the World Financial Center and whiz by the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. See the MetLife Building and the Woolworth Building on the way over to the Hudson River, the Empire State Building, and Ellis Island.

You’ll see more sights in 15 minutes than you could in a day of exploring by foot. With no lines or crowds, it’s a perfect option for those short on time.

After your whirlwind tour, land back at the heliport and be on your way to explore further.

This is not a cheap activity but it is worth the money. I chose the less expensive option, thinking that the tour would be very limited in time and scope. I was very surprised to see how much is covered is 15 minutes. What makes...More

The only way this would happen is if you paid extra. Don’t forget there are expensive fuel costs to fly it so just the 2 passengers wouldn’t cover there costs. You can always ask
