Overview
Whether you're visiting Boston for the first time, or a long time resident looking for a quick and relaxing getaway close to home, this trip around the harbor is not only fun, but you'll even learn a few things, too!
Highlights
  • Enjoy a relaxing sightseeing boat tour of Boston Harbor
  • View historic sites, ships, and the city skyline from the water
  • Learn Boston history thanks to informative narration
  • See area landmarks including the Old North Church and USS Constitution
What to Expect
Begin your narrated tour from Boston’s historic Long Wharf pier. Drinks and food are available for purchase on board. Cruise past the USS Constitution, a circa 1797 frigate named by George Washington and the oldest commissioned ship in the US Navy. You also see the Tea Party tall ships, authentically restored and berthed in the same spot where the Sons of Liberty embarked on their revolutionary act in 1773. Pass by Old North Church, where Paul Revere is said to have told a sexton how to signal the advance of British troops—”one if by land, and two, if by sea” as poet Henry W. Longfellow wrote—and admire Boston Light, the first light station established in North America. At the end of the tour, you are returned to the original departure point.

We did the Freedom Walk, had lunch, then enjoyed a great cruise with terrific commentary on the sights in Boston Harbor. Highly recommend this

Our guide, Kevin, shared so much info, history, and fun facts about the harbor and Boston. The only downside was the hefty parking fee at the garage ($40).

It was very informative and a good way to see Boston from a different viewpoint. Would certainly recommend if you have done all the usual things like the freedom trail and Harvard etc.. also good to give the feet a rest after all the walking!
