Canyonlands National Park White Rim Trail by 4WD
US$156.75
Overview
This 4WD tour of Canyonlands National Park lets you admire the iconic red rock landscape as your guide expertly navigates rugged routes to little-known hiking trails, serene vista points, and must-see formations—all while providing insight into local history and geography. Those with a private vehicle are spared the risk of damaging their car on the infamously pitted roads, while those traveling without private transportation can see more of the park than possible by foot.
What to Expect
Begin your tour with pickup from a central Moab meeting point. Hop inside a 4WD vehicle and take in views of the famous red rock landscape, including Dead Horse Point, as your guide expertly navigates the rugged 30-mile (48 kilometer) White Rim Road leading to Canyonlands National Park.

Upon arrival, pay the park entrance fee (not included) and continue into Canyonlands. Your guide handles the switchbacks en route to must-see attractions such as Gooseneck Overlook, Lathrop Canyon, Musselman Arch, and the Shafer Trail, entertaining you with information about local history, culture, and geography along the way.

Break up the drive with optional short yet challenging hikes that the casual Canyonlands visitor likely misses. Follow the trails to scenic vista points or relax near the vehicle and admire the views.

A picnic lunch by the Colorado River keeps you refreshed and energized during a full day of exploration.

Tour concludes with drop-off in Moab.

We (4 pax) enjoyed this tour very much and learned a lot about Moab and the Canyonland (as well as the Arches) National Park area from our very knowledgeable driver Ben. This tour is highly recommended.

My 3 teens and I had a nice time on this full day tour with Navtek. Our guide was a local and knew the area very well. I think a full day is pretty long. I’d recommend doing half a day, although we did see...More

I agree with Risingwolf, but make sure to take a good map, a spare tire (and jack), and plenty of water.
