Avoid the crowds at Arches National Park with this 4x4 adventure, with multiple departure times, that takes you off road to explore the rocky terrain of the park from areas where only rugged vehicles can go. Not only can you see fossilized dinosaur tracks, Tower Arch, and Marching Men on your guided tour, but you’ll have access to ice water and lemonade to keep you cool even in the heat.

What to Expect

This Arches National Park tour starts with pickup in central Moab. Meet your guide and board your 4x4 vehicle to start your adventure through this Utah park known for red-rock and sandstone formations.

After a 5-mile (8-kilometer) drive, enter the park with your guide, and learn about the area’s history and legends. Catch sight of some of the more than 2,000 sandstone arches—from giant sandstone fins to tall spires. You might recognize the landscape from movies such as Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Thelma and Louise.

Your guide takes you down backroads and up a steep rock wall that you might not see otherwise and offers insight into the geology and wildlife. Ice water and lemonade are provided. Late afternoon tours may include sunset views.

Leaving, you’ll drive down an old cowboy trail, where you’ll encounter dinosaur footprints and return to central Moab.

Great visit to Arches!

It was pouring rant the morning I had scheduled for this trip - I thought it would be a washout-literally... However - there were no other tourists in the park when we entered, and while it was raining we got to see waterfalls and mudfalls...More

First 4X4 ride, and what fun!

Tony, our guide, was an excellent encyclopedia of knowledge... he had a background in geology! He made us feel very safe and comfortable as we traveled the backroads of Arches Nat Pk. One of our favorite experiences during our long weekend stay in Moab!

Amazing sights

Phil, our guide is very knowledgeable about the area, we had a great time and learned and saw things we otherwise wouldn't have seen. It is worth doing this trip. We are planning our next excursion with Phil as our guide to do Canyonlands.

Amazing Arches!

This was an incredible trip, which provided us with gorgeous, off-road opportunities to see Arches in a completely different light! Our tour guide, Lolly, was very informed, and super nice! Thanks Lolly and Navtec for an amazing time at Arches!

Best Way to See the Sights Less-seen in Arches and Canyonlands

I had an all-day tour consisting of 2 parts: Arches in the morning and Canyonlands in the afternoon, with a delicious build-your-own-sandwich inbetween in the picnic area at Devil's Garden in Arches. What a day. We had a great guide -- Carl. Carl and John...More

The company uses Lexus SUVs. They are older models with solid front axles for better off road capabilities.

We were only a party of two and had our own private tour, but there were others in the 2 other jeeps that were traveling together and I believe they split up the group to keep everyone comfortable

It's a bit bouncy but I don't think you would feel motion sickness. Ask for the front seat. It's worth the trip and they are accommodating. Will stop if you need it.
