The Ultimate Day in the Bay Including Muir Woods
From US$119.00
A sightseeing bus tour makes it easy for time-strapped travelers to see the San Francisco Bay Area's major attractions in just one day, without skimping on insight and photo ops not offered by smaller walking tours. Plus, a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods and Sausalito saves you the time, bridge tolls, and the headaches of traveling to these packed destinations on your own.
What to Expect
Make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf to meet your guide and board your bus. Set off for a sightseeing drive through San Francisco’s distinct enclaves, including busy outdoor markets in Chinatown, celebrity mansions in Pacific Heights, and streets lined with sidewalk cafes in North Beach.
Other sights include the famous Painted Ladies on Alamo Square, sites from the Summer of Love in the Haight-Ashbury, and a panoramic viewpoint of the entire city from Twin Peaks. Listen to commentary from your guide, and stop to take photos throughout the drive.
Then, head across the Golden Gate Bridge to Muir Woods National Monument, and spend time strolling through the grove of giant redwood trees. Take a quick ride to Sausalito, a small town on the bay. Spend just enough time here to shop for souvenirs or grab lunch before returning to your original departure point.

I’ve done many day city tours and tour guide Patrick gave the best I’ve experienced. History, trivia, music, humor and entertainment for all ages. Strong work!

Awesome Tour

The tour took us to Muir Woods, which most people who have visited San Francisco do not know about. We were able to explore and take great pictures.

It was part of the tour you just had to pay an additional amount when you arrived - maybe $10?

I know ours was booked up so I think you can't leave it too late. Just go with the average temps for that time of year and base on that; It will be chilly regardless, but so worth it!

They make lots of stops for photos and bathroom breaks. Our guide stopped for 10 mins or so at the Palace of Fine Arts, a farmer’s market in the Haight-Ashbury, Mission Dolores Park, Twin Peaks, City Hall, Lyon Street Steps... More
