What to Expect
This Monterey and Carmel tour starts with pickup from your centrally located San Francisco hotel. Board your minibus, which holds a small group.
Once on the road, sit back and relax as your vehicle makes its way to Highway 1 for the ride down the California coast. Take in the cliffside and ocean views as your guide tells you about the area.
Your tour gives you free time in Monterey’s Cannery Row, as well as Carmel by the Sea. If you plan on going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, save time and prebook your admission ticket with this tour (as an upgrade).

- California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator in advance may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
- For hotel pickups, please select the Hilton Union Square - 333 O'Farrell Street (Mason Street entrance) if your hotel is not listed
- Minimum of 5 passengers needed for tour to run. There is a possibility of cancellation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.

Our entire team at Extranomical Tour deeply regret having to cancel your tour and understand the disappointment that it caused to your vacation plans. In the rare event that we do not have enough guests to run a tour (fewer than 1% of our total tour dates), our policy is to offer guests any other tour as a substitute or a full refund plus a seat to tour another day if that works in their schedule. To our current and future customers, please note that our published terms are transparent about the need to cancel events in the slow season of the year when there are not enough guests to run a safe and enjoyable tour. David - We were sorry to hear you were disappointed by our service. However, we feel the need to straighten out the record. We completely refunded your payments for the canceled tour and Monterey (Transaction IDs 41579279867 and 41579275702) on September 13th, just days after your trip to SF. It can take up to 5-7 business days to show on your credit card account (a bank processing time that we do not control). If you do not see the credit by Monday, please contact our Guest Services department and ask for Gary. We fret over each and every guest and hope this has been sorted out to your satisfaction.

We had a Randall as our guide from San Francisco to Monterey. We drove along the coast and learned a lot about the region during the drive. We got tickets to the aquarium though Extranomical. We got picked up by the hotel, on time. I really recomend this trip.
