Fantastic Way to see the natural beauty of SF with great history of the city
Sep 2019
I was very lucky to get my own personalized tour of the city as I ended up being the one signing up. It also happen to be one of few days of the year where it was over 80 degrees out and there was not a cloud in the sky so it was perfect for taking pics of Golden Gate Bridge and getting lot great shots of the Bay/Ocean. My tour guide name was Kevin and he's native to SF so he knows everything about the city's history. The 4 hour flew by so quickly as it was more of a conversation hike. Kevin took lot great pics of me so I didn't have to do those terrible selfies that I"m not good at lol. He also gave me lot great recommendations on were to go out at night and new places to visit. The West Side of SF is truly beautiful. It's amazing how much park land still exists and I got some amazing coastal pics hiking towards Land's End and you have tons of opportunities to get different pic angles of the Golden Gate Bridge! If you are into hiking and getting those IG worthy SF pics this is the tour to do!

Great walk; great guide.
Sep 2019
Our party of four active seniors took the Golden Gate Coastal Tour on Sept. 9. Our guide Mollie was delightful, engaging, articulate and full of useful information about the bridge, the beaches and the sites along the walk as well as about other SF attractions and restaurants. The hike was over 5 miles and somewhat hilly, but we all "made it" safely and with a sense of accomplishment. It was a great way to see SF from a different perspective and a great complement to the usual city tours. Highly recommended.

Molly was great!
Sep 2019 • Friends
We took the walking tour in the middle of the week so it was just the guide (Molly), my wife, and I. Molly was very knowledgeable about the history and was very courteous letting my wife stop and take a million pictures, even pointing out good shots for her. It was fun to see the bridge, all the nature, the beaches, and even some million dollar homes. Would recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn a little, or get out and see a lot of different things along coast.

Romantic private tour
Sep 2019 • Couples
Christian provided a private tour that we will remember for a lifetime. Not only was was his knowledge and passion for the bridge and Bay Area exceptional, he took the time to point out areas and facts that you won’t get from any other tour company. Together he helped me plan a romantic proposal and engagement overlooking the bridge and beaches. The private tour was catered to my needs and allowed the flexibility to be creative and spontaneous. You can do this tour as a group but if you really want to do something special for a significant other, a private tour is the way to go. We also booked the tour of China Town and got to explore hidden temples and tea shops you wouldn’t find without the tour guide. Urban Adventure tours is a no brainer if you want to explore the city and get a true perspective for its culture. We plan to continue to book with Urban Adventures on our next vacation and would recommend to try out any of their tours.

A great walking tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Aug 2019
A couple of weeks ago I went on a walking tour with Christian along the coast under the Golden Gate bridge, visiting Baker beach and ending at Sutro baths. It was a great trip to go on as the views are beautiful and Christian as a guide was really friendly and knowledgeable of the area and its history, which being a history teacher I particularly enjoyed. The walk takes you away from the more heavy tourist areas which was a nice change and you got the chance to walk on the beach and paddle in the water if you wanted. Would recommend.

Great tour with an awesome guide!
I really enjoyed the tour with Isabella, she’s an awesome guide! Since she’s lived in San Francisco for most of her life she was able to share her own recollections of major events with us, which gave the whole tour a very personal touch. She also took pictures of everyone on the tour, helped us catch the right bus back to the city and gave us restaurant recommendations (I’m still dreaming of the food at Pot&Noodle in Chinatown, which we would have never found without Isabella‘s help!). The tour itself was wonderful and the views were amazing!

A wonderful tour in the nature
Sep 2018 • Solo
I had a great tour with Christian. He gave me a lot of interesting information and guided me in the discovery of the wonderful San Francisco coastline, through woods and on scenic cliffs.
The tour was actually private, since I was the only customer for that time slot.
Exceptional!
Christian is one of the best tour guides I have met.
Thank you for the wonderful afternoon!
