Overview
Take in sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Area from the water during a 1.5-hour sailboat cruise that departs from San Francisco. Your catamaran sails past Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, the waterfront town of Sausalito, and other landmarks, offering prime photo ops of the region. Hear commentary about the sights from the captain, and you can even lend a hand with the steering if you like.
What to Expect
Make your own way to the Embarcadero to board with the 55- or 65-foot (17- or 20-meter) catamaran for your sailing cruise.

After a safety briefing, your captain steers the boat out of the marina and into the open waters of the San Francisco Bay. Get great photo ops as you pass close to Alcatraz, Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Sausalito, and other landmarks around the bay.

Look for sea lions and dolphins as your boat sails close to the Pacific Ocean, and hear commentary from your captain about the history and wildlife of the bay.

Have the option stay warm and dry in the catamaran’s protected interior; or take a seat on the trampoline net for a taste of the salty ocean breeze. Bring warm layers for the cooler temperatures on the water.

Snacks, wine, beer, or soft drinks can be purchased from the onboard bar. Your tour ends after 1.5 hours with return to the marina in San Francisco.

Fun Cruise around the Bay

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We lucked out with the weather, it was gorgeous. We live locally and just wanted to do something fun on the water. This came recommended to me and it did not disappoint.

Loved it!

It was truly a great price for a great adventure! No one in our family had done this before. I really felt they could have charged more.

Pleasant experience

The crew was friendly and accommodating. The boat was fairly clean – including men's and women's restrooms – and in good working order. We got to see a lot of the San Francisco Bay, despite the tour being only only 90 minutes long. Would recommend.

Gorgeous, easy sailing cruise

Great company! We took the 11am bay catamaran cruise and had a wonderful time. The 3-man crew is highly competent and tells you what you need to know, but doesn't blare out announcements, useless comments, or bad jokes. We departed on time, enjoyed the incomparable...More

Pier 39. Go to the West side where the California Sea Lions, and just south of main viewing area is the entrance to the docks, and a sign that has a picture of the Adventure Cat boat.
