      Amazing tour in Monument Valley
The tour is amazing. We have seen many beautiful places some on the normal road accesible to anyone, some away from the normal path accesible only with the tour. In a word stuning. We enjoyed the tour and our guide Benny. We wish we could stayed longer everywhere but than you would need a 25 hour tour not 2.5 :) Good communications, easy to find the meeting point, hundred of pictures. Thank you!

      Bucket list experience
Visiting Monument Valley was astonishing and not doing this with a native Navajo guide would be a big mistake. Our guide Wayne was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. We felt humble and very privileged being able to feel the respect and love the Navajo nation has for their amazing preserved land. We would love to visit again. A definite bucket list must see !

      Totally amazing experience
This was the best decision we made on our mini road trip. We had been touring Zion National park and Bryce Canyon in our hire car and decided to take a guided tour with Simpsons. We had the best, most amazing afternoon. Monument valley is spectacular, but our guide Richard was just perfect and made the whole experience even more amazing. He was born and brought up on the reserve and that was clearly his passion. We were a party of 9 and he mixed equally with everyone and made sure we all got the best photos and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this tour, we didn’t get back before 3.5 hours.

      Wonderful Experience
If you are able to do the Dreamcatcher Tour in Monument Valley, I highly recommend it! Our experience was wonderful. Our guide was Cody who was knowledgable, humble and funny. He went out of his way to make sure we got the best photos and got all the best info. It was amazing. I will also add respectfully to all who visit, please enter the experience open to the words of the Dine' people. This is their land and their culture. Don't assume because you have watched a John Ford movie or did some modest research on YouTube that you know what to expect. We were given a real gift and insight to the lives of the wonderful people who live and love their land. You will enhance your experience if you do as well.

      Monument Valley Tour
Monument Valley was even more impressive in person than I had seen in pictures. Seeing it at sunset was even more impressive. Our guide enhanced the experience with his knowledge of the area and the best places to view the sites.

Glad we picked the Dreamcatcher Tour
This tour was very well done. The extras with the Dreamcatcher Tour were fascinating and informative. Jaimie was our guide, and he really went out of his way to make us comfortable. The four of us were all over the age of 65. Jaimie’s flute playing, singing, and drum playing as well as Cory’s dancing and singing really made the tour. There was also a gentleman there, I think his name was Harry, also joined in to sing and drum. A special addition to our trip. Im so glad we took this tour.

      Highlight of our Arizona trip
We cannot say enough about Richard our Navajo tour guide and the Monument Valley Simpson’s Trailhandler Jeep Tour. We were there on the actual day of our 49th wedding anniversary as a part of a weeklong trip which included Sedona, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Petrified Forest, Painted Desert and even a Class AAA Resort in Scottsdale. However, the highlight of our trip was Richard and his personalized back country tour of his youth in Monument Valley. He was personable, genuine, entertaining, and informative. He generously made pictures of us in breathtaking spots. Then for our anniversary at one especially beautiful spot he sang us a Navajo love song and a haunting Navajo flute serenade. Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special and one that will never be forgotten!

The only way to see Monument Valley especially for first time visitors
Our tour guide Stanley was excellent. We learned so much about the area and it’s history from him. I would highly encourage anyone to take this tour into Monument Valley even though you can take personal vehicles in at your own risk. Without a guide I believe you would not get as good as an experience especially if you have never been here before. The tour takes about two and a half hours but I believe ours was a bit longer as we stopped many times for the most amazing views and sights and at no time did we feel rushed. We stopped many times to take photos and to learn about what we were looking at so there is ample opportunity to get off the vehicle and walk around a bit. The experience of being in the valley and being able to see all the amazing formations from ground level up close was something I will always remember

      The highlight of our trip
We took our children (between 11-17 years old) on an evening jeep tour, overnight stay in a traditional hogan and morning tour with the Navajo in Monument Valley. This was the highlight of our 21 day trip in the western USA. The jeep tour takes you into Navajo country that is otherwise not accessible to tourists. Our wonderful guide Stanley told us about the rocks, the names they were given and what they mean to Navajo culture. We had plenty of time to get out and walk around. Stanley often gave us tips from which viewpoint to take beautiful pictures. We drove to a place where a traditional dinner was served under the trees beneath a cliff. A friendly lady gave us delicious tortilla with all meat and vegetables we could eat. After dinner, we listened to a fascinating explanation about the history of the Navajo in and around Monument Valley. We also got to see ritual dances by Navajo in traditional costumes. Then Stanley took us to the hogan for the overnight stay. This was very basic: sleeping on mats on the floor, sleeping bags were also provided. For us, it made the experience complete and it was just as expected. In the morning we were woken up very early to go to a beautiful place to watch a truly magical sunrise: the upcoming sun, the silence, and the magnificent landscape. We also had a basic but very tasty breakfast. A big thumbs up for the organization, who provided us with this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommended!

Nice tour through the main section of Monument Valley, including areas only accessible with the guided tours. This part of the tour was great, and the real reason to book the tour. The open vehicle was nice, but did require a minimal climb to get into your seat. Seat belts were available. Views of the area while driving were very nicely seen from the vehicle.
After viewing the monuments, the traditional Navajo taco was offered and was just OK. The fry bread had been made earlier, and a piece of flank steak cooked on a fire was tasty, but quite chewy and difficult to cut with the plastic utensils. Water and sodas were available, but not cold which would have been nice after the ride in the open vehicle.
An interesting gentleman, Howard was his name I believe, presented some interesting information. However, his speech went on for nearly an hour, and really could have been compressed into about 20 minutes. A brief presentation of Navajo singing and a single male dancer was well done, and the time involved was just about right.
Overall, we enjoyed the tour for the beautiful monuments and the late day light was fantastic. The guide told us the names of some of the towering monuments, and I would have liked some more historical information about early life in the valley. The food and cultural presentation was average, and could be improved with keeping the food warmer, the drinks colder, and the verbal presentation could be condensed to keep everyone interested.

Beautiful sunset three hour tour of the valley then 2 hours of dinner/storytelling/drum and dancing. It was such a unique experience in a spectacular setting. Information provided by Cody, our guide, and storyteller at dinner provided insight into Navajo culture and perspectives. Great time.

This tour was wonderful! Cody was an excellent guide and has a wealth of information about the monuments, area and Navajo/Dineh culture. We were able to take some amazing photos, the food was delicious and the cultural demonstration with the dancing and singing at the end of the night was excellent. Don’t think twice about booking this tour!

This was the second tour that my wife and I took in Monument Valley, and this was by far the best. We learned about the Monument Valley formations and the history, traditions, and cultural practices of the Dine’ people. Our guide was Cody and he was excellent. Cody engaged us with his descriptions and story telling of life in Monument Valley, and he connected with us through his easy going, jocular manner. We learned how Monument Valley was shared with westerners through Harry Goulding reaching out to director John Ford with pictures of the beautiful landscape. Cody described how the Dine’ introduce themselves by describing their family lineage, and we learned some Dine’ words. Most fascinating for us was how Cody, with some sand and a little water, demonstrated how the monuments were created and then sculpted through the erosion process. Our tour group of 9 finished the evening with more of the Dine’ culture through food, more stories and history, songs, and dance. My wife and I can’t thank Cody enough for a fantastic experience!

Monument Valley has some of the most stunning scenery in the world. Our guide Stanley was able to bring the landscape alive with his knowledge of the history of the monuments and his personal experiences living in the area. Both the meal and the Navajo entertainers with their unique perspective on life capped off a perfect evening. Well done.

A few weeks ago we finally took our trip that we initially scheduled in 2019, postponed bc of Covid, covering Arizona, Utah and Nevada. This evening was what I was looking forward to most the entire waiting period and it did not disappoint. I knew what to expect with the Grand Canyon, Zion, etc (all amazing) but I was unfamiliar with Monument Valley and feel like I was introduced to it in the best way possible. Cody, our tour guide was a wonderful teacher and had the best information about the Valley and the beautiful people that live there. The scenery was breathtaking. We had several stops along the way to be able to take it in featuring flute playing and singing from the guides. A beautiful evening capped off with a lovely outdoor dinner, stories, traditional dance and a backdrop like no other. Overall it felt magical. I can't stop thinking about it and would recommend this excursion to everyone. Can't wait to go back.

Out of all the tours, we really enjoyed this one the most. Our guide, Cody was very informative and fun. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but also we learned so much about the Navajo culture and the history of the land. They end the night with a traditional meal around a camp fire, and sing and dance. It was so much fun! And all* ages can enjoy it.

Easy booking system and kept updated on any changes, only hiccup was told to be at location for 5pm but didn’t see driver until 5:20 pm so did start to wonder. We set off promptly at 5:30 pm into monument valley in intense heat, our guide stopped at intermittent intervals for us to take that special picture and as we had booked the dreamcatcher we went further into monument valley than if you went by your own means.
Absolutely stunning scenery and so quite and peaceful, we then headed to area for dinner which was very good and plenty plus water and soda, tribal dance Was performed exceptionally well and well done the young dancer.

We enjoyed this evening tour and going off the main road so we saw things you can only see with a Navaho guide. We did the drive the day before on our own and glad we did because this tour does not take you to everything you can see on your own. When you get to the Navaho Welcome Center go ahead and buy your entrance tickets. Then check in with your driver. Our tour guide was Cody. We let him know we had bought our tickets and he told us to drive up to The View hotel and he would meet us there. On your way up you will stop to show your entrance tickets. When you get to the hotel park in the lot to the right. That is where the tour trucks pick people up. If you park in the left lot, you’ll just need to walk a short distance to get to the pick up lot. Cody was very informative. As the sun is going down, Cody will drive you to a picnic area where you will get dinner. The beef was so tough, you can barely chew it. The fry bread was good and had beans and cheese. We enjoyed the performance. We stayed at Goulding’s Lodge, so it was a close and convenient drive back to our room.

We love Wayne! His humor and skillful accomodations brought the majestic landscape ever closer to us as ‘first timers’. The stops along the way gave us time to engage actively whether sitting atop a horse; talking to those on tour with us; appreciating the songs, stories, music, dances, food that were offered to us. Yes, and even running up the sandslope to Ear in the Wind!
