Our favorite part has to be our guide John. He was super nice and friendly and was so knowledgeable of the Valley and the Navajo Nation. He pointed out the images in the sandstone and the places where the Navajo lived. John helped us to get the best photos of our experience. If you book a private tour they take you to the back of the valley into the cave and arches areas.
We had a private tour and was able to walk-in and get right in a tour. John really surprised us when he took out his flute and played a beautiful song for us while we enjoyed the sights and sounds in the cave. Will never forget this experience! Thank you John and God Bless you and the families of the Valley!

The Navajo gudie was great even sang a few tunes for us. You can't ride your harley on the loop road but who would want to...full of holes and ruts and you miss the story telling.

We did an early morning loop tour with Clyde as our guide. His knowledge about the rock formations, the land and the Navajo Nation made the experience unforgettable. We especially loved the stories passed down from his grandfather and the traditional song he sang. Thanks Clyde for a great experience ( and the warm blanket)

Our tour guide Levander was incredible! He told us all about the different formations, their names, appearances in movies, and history. He led us to wonderful photo opportunities and helped us get great shots. It was all beautiful and informative, but honestly, my favorite was hearing all about the Navajo traditions, his life growing up in the area, and the beautiful song he blessed us with as we "rode" off into the sunset. My children loved the experience also and I am so happy we decided to take this tour and will always treasure the memory.

Our guide was Harry N. and he made what would had been a great trip looking at the majestic Monument Valley into a fantastic trip. His knowledge of the valley and all of the interesting information about the Navajo culture make the trip so much more interesting. He taught us some Navajo words and sang several songs in Navajo. He also gave several tips on how to take the best pictures.
Thank you Harry, you make a check off on my bucket list much more than I could have hoped for, for my family and myself.

Althought we were too late Harry and his colleague were very laid back about us arriving late. Harry told us a lot of interesting stories and even sang a navaho birthday song for my son who was having his birthday that day as wellas playing the flute. It was a great experience and we strongly recommend this tour. That s for the Wonderfull trip Harry and colleague! RvK from NL

John s our tour guide for the 8am tour. We were the only ones to brave a 39* morning. He provided us with a very warm blanket. John took us along the 17 mile loop and told stories of the different rock formations and personal experiences. He even pointed out some picture opportunities that weren’t at regular stops. What is nice about the early tour is you miss the crowds. We had most of the points of interest all to ourselves.John made this tour feel special for our 26th anniversary. Highly recommend.

Our tour with Derick on July 12th, 2021 was one of the best experiences of our life. Do not hesitate to book this tour or any other tour that Derick leads. The whole process from booking to pick-up and the tour itself was simply wonderful. Derick was a kind and welcoming host with a seemingly endless bank of knowledge about Monument Valley and the Navajo people. I've seldom if ever had the good fortune to learn as much in two hours as I did on this tour and certainly never in a place this beautiful and awe inspiring. Derick was patient with our questions and thorough with his answers covering everything from geology, anthropology, cinematography, history, linguistics, and more. COULD NOT RECOMMEND HIGHER!!!!

Harry sang to us in Navajo. I can’t think of anything more wonderful than driving through the valley with Harry singing to us.
He shared much about Navajo traditions and he and my husband shared stories about the many films that were shot in the Valley. When we return, we will ask for Harry.

My son and I did a tour with John. It was a FABULOUS experience. John was engaging, interesting, incredibly knowledgeable, unfailingly pleasant, and enthusiastic. If I do a tour, I want to learn some things I otherwise wouldn't have learned, and John delivered well above expectations. We learned a ton and had a great time.

John also showed up right on time, and the meeting place was clear and as expected.

I would strongly recommend this tour to those visiting Monument Valley. You will get much more out of your time than trying to travel the tour road yourself. WELL worth the cost.
