    Really bad!
Just save your money and don’t go. Pick another dinner theatre. The food is terrible. Big waste of money! The actors did put what they had into the show and it was funny somewhat.

WOW you need to see this!!!
Wow everyone, this place is amazing! I was a little skeptical of first, but once there it was laughs from the start. The actors/actresses did a great job interacting with the crowd and it made the experience unforgettable!!! A must see while you’re in Pigeon Forge!

    Super fun murder mystery dinner!
Great food and atmosphere. My wife and I went here while staying in Gatlinburg and had a great time with tons of laughs. Definitely recommend indulging in this experience!

    Great Birthday Experience!
This was such a great experience. My husband and I went with another couple to celebrate my birthday. We experienced Killer Prom. The actors were great and how the interaction with the crowd was super fun. We for sure will go again.

    Don't do it!!!
Definitely NOT worth the cost We were told that the doors opened at 7:00, where seating would begin immediately. We arrived at 7:00 and were still standing outside at 7:20 Once we got inside, we were left to wait in a very small gift shop with all the other guests. It was very crowded and cramped. Parties were gradually called into the dining room/theater in a very chaotic manner. The meal consisted of a soup (choice of broccoli cheddar, chicken noodle, or loaded potato), entree (fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, white gravy, green beans, corn, and biscuit), and cheesecake. The soup and fried chicken were pretty good, and the sweet tea and cheesecake were good, but everything else was straight from a can/box with no seasoning/flavor whatsoever. There wasn't even any butter or salt in anything. Is waw like a frozen TV dinner. My daughter got the chicken tenders which was one chicken filet, it was microwave cooked. The meal was not served together, they brought the soup then 30 minutes later we got the main course then the 30 mins later the desert. Very unsatisfied . We saw, Who Shot the Sheriff, It was funny but definitely not kid friendly. I definitely wouldn't call this a "murder mystery dinner show." It was more like a very low-budget play with a mediocre dinner for a very high price ($60/ea.). We live and learn...

    Great Cast, Great Time!
Highly recommend The Great Smokey Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show. We saw Moonshine Murders and had a great time. The cast was hilarious and kept us entertained throughout the evening. Food was fine; no complaints but nothing notable (outside of dessert, which was amazing) - but as noted by others, definitely more about the experience than the food. Will definitely be back to see another show when back in the area!

    Exceeded our expectations
Great interactive show that has our whole family laughing! The vegetarian dish was amazing - many restaurants just take off the meat, but they have a true vegetarian option. Our server April was great - very attentive.

    I recommend
As long as you don’t go into it expecting a broadway-level performance, you will have a great time! Very funny and worth the visit.

    Definitely NOT worth the cost
We were told that the doors opened at 7:00, where seating would begin immediately. We arrived at 7:15 and were still standing outside at 7:50. Once we got inside, we were left to wait in a very small gift shop with all the other guests. It was very crowded and cramped. Parties were gradually called into the dining room/theater in a very chaotic manner. My friend and I were placed at a table with two other parties, and the seating was quite cramped. We saw Killer Prom, and it was extremely corny. A high school drama class could have done better acting. The actual storyline had tons of holes in the plot, and there was very little room for audience interaction. I definitely wouldn't call this a "murder mystery dinner show." It was more like a very low-budget play with a mediocre dinner for a very high price ($60/ea.). We live and learn...

    Couple’s Time!
My husband and I saw “The Marriage is Murder” show. It was a great time! It’s a fast paced full of action plot with a meal. The Clue packet, we worked on together. We guessed right! Definitely spend an evening with the awesome cast.

    Shooting the sheriff
Interesting plot carried out by 4 actors, food ok, service good. After you’ve seen all the big shows this is a good fill in. I’m still amazed at how well they carried out the show with so few actors.

    Great customer service.
We actually did not get to see the show but I had to praise Lori at the venue. We went to the Clingman’s Dome in the morning and planned to go the show in the evening. Little did we know how long it would take us to get there (4 hrs) and it became impossible for us to make the 5 pm show. I called and Lori worked hard to take good care of us. I can’t say enough about the great customer service! We will definitely return when we go back to the area. Thanks, Lori!

The good: The show was really good! The actors did a wonderful job and about 3 people from the audience were cast into different roles, which made it more funny!

The bad: The food and the building were not the best. I got the potato soup and it tasted like it was bought from the grocery store and warmed up with no flavor. Everyone got pork loin and fried chicken. The chicken was breaded, but the breading was mushy. Almost like they had it in a warmer all day. The pork loin did not look good so I didn’t even try it. I honestly wouldn’t have eaten any of it if I wasn’t starving. The whole building looked outdated and dirty. I went to the restroom as soon as I got there and the handicap stall was clogged and another stall was out of toilet paper. It may just be me, but I would think it should be standard practice to clean and restock restrooms before a show begins.

My conclusion: Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives and I would not recommend this place or any of their shows to anyone for the price.

Loved the Actors. Everyone was very Loud and Easily Understood. Everyone was seated seperately with their party only, which I really liked. The Waitress was exceptional and very friendly. Loved the Food. Delicious! One of the Actors came around to each table and talked to each person and asked their name! He remembered everyone's name and told each one of us Goodbye at the end. This is a VERY Friendly and Fun Laid Back Place to spend your evening.

We booked our tickets online and the reservations stated the show started at 6:30pm. We arrived at 6:10pm and missed part of the show. There were 6 of us and we were supposed to sit with our relatives that were traveling with us from another state.
They got there before us and said we were coming and we wanted to sit together. We called and said we were on our way and they said a table would be set up for us when we got there. We arrived and a table was not ready for several minutes, then they sat us in the back corner in the dark. Everyone had drinks and soup already.
The waitress was gracious and very accommodating, but super busy. The manager tried to tell us that our tickets were booked on Trip Advisor and the time was wrong. They are aware of the issue, but don’t have it fixed.
We got soup at the end of our meal, after our dessert, because it was frozen and had to be cooked. The food was horrible and the chicken was dry.
We were not offered any compensation for our trouble or for the issue with the wrong time on Trip Advisor. We missed approximately 20 minutes of the show and didn’t get to sit with the rest of our group.
Save your money and don’t go to this show… it’s not worth it!!

The show has people from the audience to participate as one of the characters in the show. What made the show even funnier was when the audience characters were so into their part that they forgot to read from there given lines and made up their own lines. Very funny.

I was concerned of the setting during COVID-19 but my concerns were immediately relieved the minute we walked in: the practiced social distancing, everyone including the actors wore masks. The food was better than expected, in fact it was very good. The wait service was excellent and worked very hard between acts to meet everyone's need. The play was entertaining, the star though was the wedding planner. I had a very nice time celebrating my birthday and recommend the Smokey Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show.

We are from Jacksonville, FL, and this was our 3rd experience at Murder Mystery Theater. We have never been disappointed. Tonight's show was awesome, filled with fun and lots of laughter, plus a nice meal. Cheesecake was exceptional. We will continue to make the Murder Mystery Theater a "must see" every time we come to Pigeon Forge! in the midst of this pandemic and uncertain times, treat yourself to a night of fun, food, laughter and relaxation. Our server was also exceptional!

My family and I attended on Thursday, July 22nd. We had the best time. Our dinner was excellent, each course was served at the appropriate time coinciding with the show's intermissions. Our server, April, was on point! Never an empty glass, or any need for anything! She was genuinely, super nice! We appreciated her!
The cast did an excellent job! They engaged the audience perfectly. They even including my grandson," baby Adrian" as they called him, into the show!! He loved it, we loved it and the audience love it! A triple win for sure!!! I cannot express how much we loved this show! Honestly, it was the highlight of our trip to Tennessee. If you are reading this, you must book a reservation... today!! Also, a shout out to all the folks behind the scenes, the show could not be as awesome as it was without you!! Great Job!!

This was a great way to spend the evening. They don't have a stage the actors are all over and around the audience. Some of the audience even had parts in the play. It was really funny. The food was excellent also. Great wait staff. Very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

The waitress Tanya and her daughter Kennedy were both stellar, at only 14 it was wonderful to see the work ethic this young lady had!!! The food was great. The show itself was the best one we have gone to and that’s saying something since we went to all of the big name shows on the strip. It is a
small area, but they do it right around all the diners, I would highly recommend this show!!! We are going back for another show ASAP!!!

Very disappointed. While the acting was great, the food was cold, dry meats and no substitute options. The worst part was that they only serve bud light beer! No liquor, no wine, no cocktails!! They told me when I made the reservation, they served cocktails. It was my birthday and I was let down. Definitely not worth what I paid!
