    Reasonably priced dinner show.
It was a really good dinner show. It's a very interactive show. Despite other reviews, we were pleased with the food. It was barbecue with a side of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce, mac and cheese, baked beans, and a parfait(graham cracker crumbs, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream). They renamed "the wave" "the Clarence," which is my name, and the crowd all said my name while doing it.

Food service awful. They took forever to give out food, ran out of cups, ran out of dessert, barely had any BBQ j6st scraps of m
Show great but the service, food and the table for the BBQ sauce and serving ware only had room for 2 at a time. Show great!.

    The show was FANTASTIC!
Since this was the Paula Dean Lumberjack Feud, we were expecting Paula Dean food for the meal. That was a bit of a disappointment, but the pulled pork with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce was excellent. There is a nice shopping area to explore while you wait for the show to start. The show was my husband’s favorite activity we did (besides watching our Granddaughter play in a volleyball tourney😉). The lumberjack activities are a good cross-section of the skills they used and the Lumberjacks (and Jills) were world class competitors. The MC was so skilled at getting the while crowd involved. The time just flew by. The temperature was in the 30s when we went, but the grandstand is enclosed on 3 A and there are 7 huge industrial heaters. Don’t let the cold stop you from going. This is a really enjoyable activity for anyone of any age. Check it out!

    Not worth it
Very Boring and food was just okay. I fell asleep on my husband’s shoulder. We left during intermission, no reason to stay any longer. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Employees were nice but it was not worth the money we paid.

    Not good.
Cold outside which we were not informed. Just wasn’t very exciting. Left at intermission and went home. Food was skimpy and not good for Paula dean.

    Show amazed!
The show was awesome! They were great and worth the money! Just not the food they give you these really small portions and no free drink refill’s which I paid $150 for food and show for 4 people i expect free refills the baked beans are gross the pudding was pudding my kids were still hungry after so ended up going to dinner after which defeats the purpose of having dinner at the show if not going to fill you up.

    This is a great show
We had a fantastic time at the Paula Deen lumber jack Christmas show. The turkey sandwich was tasty and the show was very entertaining. Fun for all ages. Would definitely recommend and would attend again.

Just ok. I recommend Dolly’s pirate show. It was a 10!
Show was “cute” Food was horrible! None of us ate it….you get a styrofoam container with a cubes processed salty turkey sandwich, a container of cold green beans, dressing and cranberry sauce in a container. You eat it while sitting on bleachers. Performers were nice and interesting. They should just do a show!

    Miserable experience.
I was very disappointed. I was expecting a nice meal from Paula Deen and what I got was what you would expect for a takeout lunch from a diner. To make matters worse we had to eat it while sitting on bleachers in the cold. They advertised “Climate Controlled” outdoor seating but the infrared heater wasn’t working and it was miserable. I would have walked out but my friends wanted to stay. The lumberjacks were good but it wasn’t a real competition. Other dinner theatres may cost more but they are definitely more enjoyable.

    Not an overall great experience
This is billed as supper and a show at a cost of $49.99 per adult and $19.99 per child. Kids under 2 are free because they receive no food. First, supper is served in a styrofoam container out the side of a concession stand. No kitchen and that is apparent. Supper consisted of a cold school cafeteria quality turkey sandwich with canned cranberry, canned green beans, dressing, and chocolate pudding. Do not expect Paula Deen food. There are no tables in the theatre area so you must eat your supper on your lap. You can of course eat at the cold picnic tables outside the theatre. Let’s talk about the theatre, advertised as climate controlled but obviously it is not. We visited around new years and it was very cold. If you are a person with a disability, you will be seated on the ground level where their magnificent heaters do not reach. If you are lucky enough to be able to climb the steps, you will only be mildly warmed. To add insult to injury, their hot cocoa machine was broken. The show is as expected. They share information about lumberjack competitions and tools. They also give you a little history to understand the industry and its connection to the area. It was entertaining but slow. Don’t waste your money or time.

    Expectation vs Reality
I wish I could give two ratings. The show was great. The lumberjacks were very skilled and entertaining. It’s manipulated a bit to be sure the competition is good, but they really are talented men and women…there’s no playing around with axes! I thoroughly enjoyed the show itself and would recommend it wholeheartedly. On the other hand, don’t be mistaken about the “dinner show” label. If you’re expecting to be served and waited on like the area’s other dinner shows, you will not. You get a small, unimpressive meal in a take out box. I’ve been to Paula Deen’s restaurant, and I don’t consider this meal to be a Paula Deen caliber meal. We were confused about how to deal with tickets and get the meal, meaning we ended up eating in the stands after the show started, so that didn’t help. I looked over the website again. I would not have known what to expect based on the information there. Yes, there’s a picture of the meal, but not in its box. Also, the grandstands are supposed to be climate controlled. I was very cold during the performance. Honestly, if we had understood the meal and eating situation, we would not have gone. In summary…it’s a great show for a family with kids. It’s good for a picnic style meal. It would be a great show with no pretense of a meal and just some great snacks. I felt cheated by calling it a dinner show.

    Great show, ok food
The show was great. The food, not so much. Small portions and ok food. I expected better from something to do with Paula Deen. Plus you eat out of a styrofoam to go container while seated in bleachers with back. We all enjoyed the show, however!

    Amazing feats
Fun performance with excellent entertainers and woodsmen/women. Wow! Hard to believe what they can do. All age ranges were having a great time. We sure did. The meal was hmmm well, ok but the show was great.

Not what I thought it would be
We weren't informed of how the experience worked. We found out the hard way how you should arrive early to eat at a table. If you wait to eat during the show you will have to hold it in your lap. Portions were small for Paula Deen to me also. I don't have to go again.

Great experience, family friendly adult friendly just really great folks at the show
This was the only cold night that I had even in the outdoor. It was OK because the stands were warmed. The guys and gals were funny as heck. The competition was great, and they really involved the audience. I appreciate having my meal in a box because being a diabetic I need to eat it a little bit later on. You were able to talk with the performers after. They were very friendly and wonderful.

We bought tickets to the show and adventure park and both were great! We did then on two different days, I recommend reserving the adventure park tickets a few days out, they sell out. Everything is for kids 5+ , but the ropes course is challenging even for older kids and adults. Kids loved rooting for "our" family during the feud.

A great family show (bring ear protection for little ones) for a a decent price with good crowd interaction.
The adventure park was awesome and 110% worth it! Your ticket gives you two hours to do the ropes course, log roll, pole climb with repelling, zipline roller coaster (AWESOME) and the repelling/platform drop.
Definitely worth it!

Actually heard Paula Deen talking about this on the news so on a spur of the moment my wife and I were on the way to Pigeon Forge as it sounded pretty interesting. Purchased our tickets over the phone. Great staff who told us what to expect when we arrived and they were spot on. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kermit on the Zip Line Coaster and Free Fall was outstanding and very safe and reassuring to those of us with height issues. Kermit stood out but he is representative of all the staff there. We had a blast, the adventure park takes about two to three hours to experience the lumber Jack skills and ropes course. Came back that night for the show and it was completely awesome. Absolutely professional timber sports men and women. The two hour show flew by in high gear, after the staff recognized Active Military and Veterans they led the crowd in singing our national anthem. The lumber Jacks and Jill’s all interacted with the crowd and especially the kids. If your looking for some very different entertainment that does not cost an arm and a leg and is entertaining for all, Check Out Paula Deens Lumberjack Fued when in Pigeon Forge TN!

Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud is one of the newer attractions along the parkway in Pigeon Forge. It was located within walking distance of our hotel, so we decided to check it out. While waiting for the show, we harnessed up and did the obstacle course. I will say that this will challenge you. Even the teens in out group who are a lot more nimble than I am found it challenging but lots of fun. It took us about 30-minutes to make it completely through the entire curse. We also did the zip-line which has a weight limit 250 pounds. It was more fun that any of us thought. The cost of admission allows you to do the zip line twice and each person in our group took advantage and did it twice. Between the shows, the obstacle course and the zip line we spent two enjoyable hours here and the younger folks in our group described our visit as awesome. I would definitely recommend this attraction to anyone visiting Pigeon Forge.

I booked through Groupon and it was a nightmare. Buying a Groupon doesn't guarantee your tickets, you still have to "order" them on the website. It was a total of 14 tickets for my family of 7 each ticket with it's own 8 character code. 4 different check out processes (kids and adults have to be bought separately, park separately from the show). After booking the show I realized there was no adventure park times near our show. We had to leave and come back.

The show itself was ok. It's quite staged with a lot of corny jokes and comedy. My 9 yo especially enjoyed it.

Many of the attractions at the adventure park were closed I assume from short staffing. It took us over 15 minutes to get into our harnesses and the poor lady doing it worked up a sweat (literally) trying to get everyone through quickly. The ax throwing and repelling jump were never open. Other attractions we had to rush to when we noticed it was open. The ropes course is VERY difficult for adults and my 5 yo was scraped up from the netting. It's difficult to see what's ahead before you get there and it's not easy to go back if you change your mind.

It wasn't worth the Groupon cost and is DEFINITELY not worth full price. The kids had a good time once they're but we went be back at current pricing, staffing, and hassle.

We had a 10am reservation and told to be there at 9:45. Waited until 10:20 to finally suit up. 17 people on the group. When we finished the ropes course the group waited together for 25 min. Our guide was apparently staying on the ropes course with the next group. Finally after complaining, we started the log roll. He then headed over to the climbing area to get started with a partial group while the others finished the log rolling. A family of five left the previous group to join our group which made everyone wait even longer. We started the zip line. At this point after 3 hours of waiting, we left after the first zip. Didn’t do a second and didn’t do the repel jump. Horrible service at this place. Lots of waiting. Groups too big. Awful. Bring water if you must go here.

The adventure park and show were absolutely wonderful! My family with kids ranging from 5-15 really enjoyed all of it. There was something for everyone. The show was so cool to watch and we loved how interactive it was with the audience. We all had a great time!

We visited the lumberjack show and adventure park. The kids (teens and tween) had a great time at the adventure park, especially the ropes course and zipline coaster. All activities were open when we went (noon reservation on a weekday). We spent 2-3 hours to complete all the activities. Truman did a great job as our guide. You can bring your own drinks (nonalcoholic) to the park and show. Those who are watching can follow right along with participants to each station. There's also a shaded area to sit if needed. Those who attended the lumberjack show in our group said it was good family fun.

What a great time we had! The adventure park was perfect for my 10/12 year old kids. The staff was wonderful and interacted with the kids. We were able to walk around and watch them and they did not charge us as parents to watch. We spent about 2.5 hours in the adventure park. The lumberjack show was also a lot of fun. The snacks were a reasonable price and we were allowed to bring our own bottled water into the stadium. Lumberjacks/lumberjills were very entertaining! We will definitely return in the future!

This was a great experience for my family. I truly enjoyed the crowd interaction of the cast with the Feud show in addition to how well they engaged the crowd. The Adventure Park was super fun and safe and the activities were so tough (not too tough) for some well needed family fun!
