      Reasonably priced dinner show.
It was a really good dinner show. It's a very interactive show. Despite other reviews, we were pleased with the food. It was barbecue with a side of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce, mac and cheese, baked beans, and a parfait(graham cracker crumbs, chocolate pudding, and whipped cream). They renamed "the wave" "the Clarence," which is my name, and the crowd all said my name while doing it.

Food service awful. They took forever to give out food, ran out of cups, ran out of dessert, barely had any BBQ j6st scraps of m
Show great but the service, food and the table for the BBQ sauce and serving ware only had room for 2 at a time. Show great!.

      The show was FANTASTIC!
Since this was the Paula Dean Lumberjack Feud, we were expecting Paula Dean food for the meal. That was a bit of a disappointment, but the pulled pork with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce was excellent. There is a nice shopping area to explore while you wait for the show to start. The show was my husband’s favorite activity we did (besides watching our Granddaughter play in a volleyball tourney😉). The lumberjack activities are a good cross-section of the skills they used and the Lumberjacks (and Jills) were world class competitors. The MC was so skilled at getting the while crowd involved. The time just flew by. The temperature was in the 30s when we went, but the grandstand is enclosed on 3 A and there are 7 huge industrial heaters. Don’t let the cold stop you from going. This is a really enjoyable activity for anyone of any age. Check it out!

      Not good.
Cold outside which we were not informed. Just wasn’t very exciting. Left at intermission and went home. Food was skimpy and not good for Paula dean.

      Show amazed!
The show was awesome! They were great and worth the money! Just not the food they give you these really small portions and no free drink refill’s which I paid $150 for food and show for 4 people i expect free refills the baked beans are gross the pudding was pudding my kids were still hungry after so ended up going to dinner after which defeats the purpose of having dinner at the show if not going to fill you up.

      This is a great show
We had a fantastic time at the Paula Deen lumber jack Christmas show. The turkey sandwich was tasty and the show was very entertaining. Fun for all ages. Would definitely recommend and would attend again.

Just ok. I recommend Dolly’s pirate show. It was a 10!
Show was “cute” Food was horrible! None of us ate it….you get a styrofoam container with a cubes processed salty turkey sandwich, a container of cold green beans, dressing and cranberry sauce in a container. You eat it while sitting on bleachers. Performers were nice and interesting. They should just do a show!

      Not an overall great experience
This is billed as supper and a show at a cost of $49.99 per adult and $19.99 per child. Kids under 2 are free because they receive no food. First, supper is served in a styrofoam container out the side of a concession stand. No kitchen and that is apparent. Supper consisted of a cold school cafeteria quality turkey sandwich with canned cranberry, canned green beans, dressing, and chocolate pudding. Do not expect Paula Deen food. There are no tables in the theatre area so you must eat your supper on your lap. You can of course eat at the cold picnic tables outside the theatre. Let’s talk about the theatre, advertised as climate controlled but obviously it is not. We visited around new years and it was very cold. If you are a person with a disability, you will be seated on the ground level where their magnificent heaters do not reach. If you are lucky enough to be able to climb the steps, you will only be mildly warmed. To add insult to injury, their hot cocoa machine was broken. The show is as expected. They share information about lumberjack competitions and tools. They also give you a little history to understand the industry and its connection to the area. It was entertaining but slow. Don’t waste your money or time.

      Expectation vs Reality
I wish I could give two ratings. The show was great. The lumberjacks were very skilled and entertaining. It’s manipulated a bit to be sure the competition is good, but they really are talented men and women…there’s no playing around with axes! I thoroughly enjoyed the show itself and would recommend it wholeheartedly. On the other hand, don’t be mistaken about the “dinner show” label. If you’re expecting to be served and waited on like the area’s other dinner shows, you will not. You get a small, unimpressive meal in a take out box. I’ve been to Paula Deen’s restaurant, and I don’t consider this meal to be a Paula Deen caliber meal. We were confused about how to deal with tickets and get the meal, meaning we ended up eating in the stands after the show started, so that didn’t help. I looked over the website again. I would not have known what to expect based on the information there. Yes, there’s a picture of the meal, but not in its box. Also, the grandstands are supposed to be climate controlled. I was very cold during the performance. Honestly, if we had understood the meal and eating situation, we would not have gone. In summary…it’s a great show for a family with kids. It’s good for a picnic style meal. It would be a great show with no pretense of a meal and just some great snacks. I felt cheated by calling it a dinner show.

      Great show, ok food
The show was great. The food, not so much. Small portions and ok food. I expected better from something to do with Paula Deen. Plus you eat out of a styrofoam to go container while seated in bleachers with back. We all enjoyed the show, however!

      Amazing feats
Fun performance with excellent entertainers and woodsmen/women. Wow! Hard to believe what they can do. All age ranges were having a great time. We sure did. The meal was hmmm well, ok but the show was great.

Not what I thought it would be
We weren't informed of how the experience worked. We found out the hard way how you should arrive early to eat at a table. If you wait to eat during the show you will have to hold it in your lap. Portions were small for Paula Deen to me also. I don't have to go again.

Great experience, family friendly adult friendly just really great folks at the show
This was the only cold night that I had even in the outdoor. It was OK because the stands were warmed. The guys and gals were funny as heck. The competition was great, and they really involved the audience. I appreciate having my meal in a box because being a diabetic I need to eat it a little bit later on. You were able to talk with the performers after. They were very friendly and wonderful.

Fun show, all outdoors, marginal meal.
This show and meal is all outside which I didn’t know when I booked. They have a few heaters but still a little cold to be comfortable. Fun show but a little corny. Definitely geared towards younger kids. Meal was disappointing. A bun with a few pieces of turkey, small container of green beans, stuffing and pudding.

Show is great but food is less so. Very entertaining show with a great cast that really works the crowd up and gets them Into it.

The show itself was cheesy but ok the kids seemed to really enjoy it so that was cool just know this is more of a children’s show. You may bring food and drinks if your own so that’s a plus. No alcohol! We purchased the adventure park I definitely would not recommend doing this they had one really good staff member gabby that gets you harnessed up and she even came down to help after I complained about the guy they had running the water logs for the kids. This guy cared more about telling his stories and flirting with 12 year old girls which is disgusting. There was a kid from upstate New York I had met while waiting forever to zip line he had been waiting for 45 minutes to do the bungie jump in which he was told sorry they didn’t have enough people for him to do it because everyone was zip lining. He came down for his sixteenth birthday. So that being said show was ok and the management of the concessions to the adventure park really stinks and so does most of the staff. It was around $40 a person for adult show and $20 for the kids a piece also to add the adventure park was $40 per adult and $25 for the kids a piece so yea do the math I would not do it over! Hope this helps really should have gave them a 2 instead of a 3 but the show staff was nice guy in pic was the dirt bag flirting with the young girls

My 12 year old daughter has been greatly anticipating the opening of the coaster. We tried to go 3 different days on our 5 day visit to the area. Two of the days the coaster was closed due to wind. She was super excited the last day because it was open if you were within a certain weight zone. She got all geared up and waited, she went up, she went down then when she went back up she was told she was not in the new weight zone, that they changed since we paid because there is a flater section in the middle that a few people were having trouble getting through, without using some swinging momentum. So now we paid for 1 1/2 hours unlimited for the adventure park, so she could ride the coaster. She could and then she couldn’t. She was not interested in there ropes course area. The did give us a partial refund back after I asked several people about it, thus the 3 star. Though she loved it, it was a lot of money for her 2 zips down. Hopefully, they will work out the growing pains of this newer attraction.

The Lumberjack park has potential but is severely understaffed like most everything else. Unfortunately they don't bother to limit attendance. Our slot was 11am and we were told to be there by 10:45am. We were. We were not fitted with equipment until after 11:15am, left standing in the hot sun while people in line BEHIND us were called forward. No organization. Told to sign the waiver electronically, which we did the day before. They seemed to have no record of it. Not told where to go to start the course, the equipment fitter barely spoke to us. Were yelled at on the course because we were (unknowingly) breaking some sort of rule that was never stated verbally or in writing. Lack of attendants on the course so pieces weren't open unless we wanted to wait for them to shut down other areas. I'm sure it's worth the price but not until they have a full staff.

The adventure park was incredible! One thing though is that you only get to do the rope course once and the zip line coaster and free jump twice. Also, $50 for a limited amount of times you can go on each attraction doesn’t quite seem worth it. Kermiet, the employee operating the zip line coaster, was super nice and definitely deserves some praise!

We did the adventure park. You get two hours with the price of admission. There are 4 activities. So you would think in 2 hours you’d get to do each activity multiple times. However, that was not the case. We did each activity only one time. It appeared they were very under staffed and we had to wait over 20 minutes for one of the activities because it did not have a staff member at all. I had to track someone down to bring it to their attention. They also had to pull staff off other activities to help, which left some of the stations without anyone to run it. Also, I highly recommend you make reservations online because we had to wait over an hour for our reservation time.

My daughter is 16 and all she wanted to do was the zip coaster part but unfortunately it’s a package and all the other activities are involved. She did some of them but really didn’t want too. Overall it was fun and funny to watch her and the others climb around. The logs on the water was hilarious to watch. The best part was definitely the zip coaster for her. The staff was very good and definitely recommend if interested in trying this type of activity. It does require reservations and it’s around 2 hours to complete the activities and you do it as a group before moving on the the other activities so it does take some time. Great place to visit.

We paid for my granddaughter to do the Adventure Park and after we paid only two of the events were open. She enjoyed the two events but was not allowed to go back and forth between the two. Their rule is that once you leave that activity you cannot return. This is the rule even though only two activities were open. It should take 2 hours to go through all of the obstacle course (activities) however, she was finished in about 45 minutes since there was nothing else to do. I told her to go back through, but she was turned away and told she couldn't get back on since she left the area and went to another activity. Make sure everything is open before you purchase a ticket. It never occurred to me that portions (most of it) would be closed down.

The ropes course is a good challenge but not too hard for the average person. Our 20 and 17 yr. olds had no problem with the upper course. I was only a little slower than them...props for 52 yr. old Mom!
Hilarious to pair up on the log rolls!
Loved the lumberjack climber. Fun to race up.
Highlight was the Flying Ox, cool way to coaster hanging and whipping around.
The final free fall platform was also well loved if you like a stomach drop for a few seconds!! Two little kids just walked right up after us with no fear.
Great staff and we enjoyed laughing with he and our group.
We love to adventure so this was a great afternoon for us and ended in the shade with the Lumberjack show.
They are working on some more shade, seating, and misting stations which is much needed for these outdoor activities.
Snack bar with plenty of drink options.

The entire experience was great. They are very careful of social distancing and wearing masks. The obstacle course was great and challenging. The employees are right there though explaining what to do. My 65 year old husband was able to it and for our 27 year old son it wasn't too easy but fun and entertaining. Then zip line was exhilarating for both of them.

I have to be honest Pigeon Forge is just not for me, i am more of a beach sun and sand and fun kind of person. The commercial feel is just not my scene. So when the total for me and 3 Kids came to $186 with taxes i was thinking here we go another tourist trap.

I was wrong. While this place is right smack in the middle of a shopping center, our guide Casey truly made this a memorable experience. The facilities are super clean, our guide Casey was friendly, super accommodating, encouraging and most importantly safe. We ended up spending about 3.5 hours onsite, now maybe that was because of the off season timing but the kids really did have a blast, and Casey was willing to keep going an play more. So when you think about the cost vs/ the hours spent the was actually a really good value for the area. I cant speak to the other courses in the area, but if you like clean and friendly this one seems to have that covered. There is also a show so if you wanted to make a half day out of it and then head out for dinner after this would be a good half day run and likely not more then $250 bucks if you throw in the show.

Again another shout out and thanks to our guide.
