- tgapu1230 contributionsGreat funDustin was a great guide. This stories and history of the area was very interesting and humorous. The tour is not necessarily unique in that you could see the lights on your own but not having to drive and have the narration made it all worth while. One suggestion is to not “stuff” the bus. We had 12 but all were couples and 4 in the back row is a tough fit 😊Written 12 December 2023

- H8907LCanthonyo0 contributionsI would highly recommend this tour. Maybe I’ll take vacation a little bit early next year and see even more color.Oh my gosh, it was just a fantastic trip. I even went on it twice. I have never seen anybody as knowledgeable and enjoyable as Dustin. he was absolutely fantastic. Every single person on the tour enjoyed him guiding us. Even though this was a little bit later in the year, there were still plenty of color to see. We were not rushed and allowed to take many many pictures. Dustin has quite a family history in the area, and he shared that with us, and allowed us to share things with him.Written 3 December 2023
- Pattie L0 contributionsChristmas lightsThe lights that we found were beautiful, but maybe I was expecting too much because there weren't nearest many lights as I expected.Written 2 December 2023
- bobaloo0000 contributionsDisappointedNot really the tour guides fault but two of the three places we were supposed to visit were closed and we could not go. The company running the tour should have known this and not offered the tour for the night we went. I also found it ironic that a company that offers a Christmas light tour had no lights up at the meeting spot. We drove right past them. No lights, no signs, no standing outside with a reflector vest and flashlight. No music playing. Nothing. They need to improve that. The van itself was old, uncomfortable and warm. The tour guide was the best part. Not only did he patently wait for us to backtrack but he also was actually entertaining on the tour and very apologetic. I would skip this and drive around yourself though.Written 2 December 2023

- jamessR9862ZH0 contributionsGood guide - poor rideWhile the guide, Dustin, was very informative, the transportation was less than desirable The van had seats for maybe 15 but the seats were not wide enough and uncomfortable. there were a number of stops where the people were to get out of the van to look at the colors of the leaves. It was very difficult for some to exit and enter the van and that made the whole experience distasteful. Dustin, being local, provided a wealth of information about the Smoky Mountain area. He had wonderful stories and definitions of language used in the area. He said that he had scouted to find good spots for viewing color. He took us on the Foothills Parkway to a couple of overlooks where the views were great. He also took us to Elkmont, Daisy Village, I believe he said, to view the historic buildings. That did not seem to be in the description. The trip was scheduled to be five hours long. That meant he needed to stop for a food break and he picked a cafe in Townsend but had said that we could bring our own food if desired. Having a "picnic" at the cafe was not the thing to do. The only tables were at the cafe where patrons of the cafe sat and ate the food purchased in the cafe. I did not feel comfortable taking space where paying customers normally sat. The descriptin should specify that food can be purchased during the tour. The tour was acceptible only because of Dustin, who did good preparation for finding where the good views of colored leaves were, was the guide and provided much good historical and cultural information.Written 26 October 2023
- gregorykL8573OD0 contributionsWasted moneyThe colors were awful, not the services fault, but it was not worth the price we paid. The van/bus seats were very tight and uncomfortableWritten 22 October 2023

we went on the Moonshine and wine tour today, and we were very disappointed in the experience. The tour guide didn't seem to have much knowledge about the wineries or distilleries, after almost every bit of "information" she would say, "but I don't know for sure". There were no Covid protocols in place in the very full van, the guide wasn't wearing a mask and actually told us we didn't need to wear masks while on the van, the hand sanitizer dispenser was empty and again she didn't see this as a problem. When I was researching things to do while here on vacation one of the main reasons I booked this tour was because of the reassurance that all Covid protocols where being enforced, the maximum numbers of passengers was reduced and masks were mandatory while on the tour, I wouldn't have booked a tour with this company if I had known that the information provided was not in fact being followed by the tour drivers. If I could get my money back I would

We follow all protocols and policies required by state and local governments. If those requirements change then we change our policies as well. Currently we disinfect every vehicle after every tour and before each tour. The dispenser was in fact empty because refills are hard to come by, I am sorry for that. We are not required to provide hand sanitizer but we do because we care. Almost every distillery we visit sells hand sanitizer in the event that ours runs empty and we can't get a refill in time for the next tour. Juen was likely the guide you are talking about ... shes new. People aren't usually born with the skill to speak publicly. Some of us are blessed with the gift of the gab, some aren't. Shes fairly new and still learning the craft. I apologize for her lack of skills and her inexperience. I will be sure to let her know how you felt about her performance so that she might improve ... although harsh words rarely work. Thanks for coming, hope you have a safe and enjoyable vacation.

Went during Labor Day. First, the office is not open, so no use checking in 15-30 min early as we all just stood outside the office. Tour started around 12:10pm. June was sweet and nice, but left a lot to be desired as far as knowledge of history of the town and distilleries. If you want to ride to different distilleries in town via a hot bus with minimal narrative, this is the tour for you. The distilleries themselves were nice and accommodating.

Our apologies for the hot weather but our A/C's do work on the bus. This has been a constant issue from the beginning and we have had the systems checked and repaired many times. The issue isn't the A/C, its the alcohol you are consuming. You spend approximately 10 minutes on the bus between stops and up to an hour inside an air conditioned building yet you are hot. The reason is that the alcohol makes a person feel much warmer than they actually are. Usually the more you consume the warmer you get. Every person is affected differently but there isn't anything we can do about it, I'm sorry. Another big factor is the body heat humans create in a smaller space such as a bus and also the fact that we have large windows and the fact that we open and close the doors which lets all the cold air escape. Our only suggestion for the future is to dress light and bring plenty of water.

Family group went on the tour today with June. The stops were hosted by friendly folks. The Sevier Distilling Co. stop and tour was exceptional! Unfortunately our tour bus, which we rode in for 5 hours, did not have working air conditioning! The warm conditions but a damper on the day for sure. The bus blew air, but did not cool.

Great experience! I went with a large group (20 people appx) and we were able to visit 6 venues (2 of which offered either wine and moonshine or hard cider & wine). You try a very wide array of liquors throughout the tour- wine, moonshine, vodka, hard cider, and gin just to name a few. EAT BEFORE YOU GO! The tastings themselves are small, but a lot of small tastings add up & we were definitely feeling it by the end of the tour. Highly recommend!

Dustin is the best! So kind and professional. We ended up going to eight stops because our group was moving quick and we asked if we could stop by the 5th winery on the trail card. Dustin was nice enough to take us, and it was so much fun! Great way to go around town and try different drinks. Highly recommend the muscadine wine from the various wineries, our favorite! Highly recommend.

This was an excellent tour! Our tour guide, Pam, was great. She told us a lot about the area and the wineries and distilleries we visited. The pick-up location was conveniently located near a Trolley stop which was an added bonus. It was nice to have someone drive you from location to location and we had a good group on our tour. I’d highly recommend this tour if you want to try out the local moonshine, wine and cider!

This was a fabulous tasting. There was a variety of locations which was great for everyone. To my surprise the moonshine was my favorite as Noble, the bartender, was hilarious and the creams was delicious. Chocolate was by far my fave. Our tour guide, Terry, was very knowledgeable and keep all our spirits up as we began to get a lil tired from all the tastings lol. This is a must go to and definitely fun. You won’t be disappointed!

Three of us went and ended up being the only ones on the tour due to other's cancellations. All of the places we went were fantastic, kind people we interacted with, and provided a wonderful array of wines, wine coolers, moonshines, cream liquors, etc.Pam was our guide for the day and is the kindest human. We had a great time and cannot recommend this enough. I would do this over and over again. Make sure you bring your own snacks and water!

It is a "Tasting Tour" We had a great time but honestly I was disappointed in not seeing any of the distilleries and wineries working. The tour is just a ride to different distilleries and wineries for tastings only. Dustin was great and the wines and moonshine were yummy and we came home with lots of bottles.

We were very excited to go on the tour but weren’t able to go. We arrived at the designated pick up spot 30 minutes early. We continued to wait for 15 minutes after the designated time. We tried to call the number multiple times but no one would answer. We finally just decided to go eat instead. Almost an hour after the tour was supposed to start, we got a call from the tour guide saying he overslept. We were given a full refund, but it is still disappointing especially since the listing specifically states that they will not wait for you if you’re late.

In operating this tour for over 6 years this is the first time anything like this has happened. Our guide did not make the tour unfortunately which was completely our fault. Though we state that we do not wait we have in fact waited on countless groups over the years. Our no wait policy is due to the fact many people take advantage and have shown up very late which causes the other participants to suffer. Imagine if you had shown up 30 minutes early and another group showed up 30 minutes late, that has you sitting in a van waiting for an hour ... which is unfair to you who was early. It is extremely unfortunate that our guide was late but in operation 5 days a week for 6 years it was bound to happen eventually. We are deeply sorry and would have been glad to make it up to you with more than just a refund had you asked. Hopefully this review has brought you the satisfaction you seek. Have a great day.
