Overview
This Charleston ghost tour is extra scary thanks to a stop at the Provost Dungeon—rumored to be one of the most haunted spots in all of Charleston. Hear the macabre real-life history behind the cellar, and then continue walking down historic streets as your guide shares obscure and spooky tales from Charleston’s past.
What to Expect
At nightfall, meet your guide at a central location in downtown Charleston to start your ghost tour. Walk straight to the Provost Dungeon, a pre-revolutionary cellar inside the Old Exchange building that is rumored to be haunted. As you tour the prison, learn the real story of the hundreds of captives held here during the American Revolution.

Then, continue the rest of your tour down the cobblestone streets and back alleyways of one of the oldest cities in the United States. Your guide shares stories of haunted houses, ghosts, and Lowcountry superstitions that put a spooky twist on Charleston history.

Tour concludes near original departure point.

Nice time

I've never been on a tour like this and wasn't sure what to expect. Definitely interesting and makes me wonder if ghosts do exist. However, I don't think so

Ghost tour..

Wasn't overly impressed. Seeing the dungeon was probably the best part of the tour, the rest was just some corny jokes and random ghost stories. Was expecting a little bit more since it was over 50 dollars for the 2 of us..

Excellent Guide

Our guide was a great storyteller. He brought the ghosts to life via real images on his iPad. Go see for yourself.

Jack Kelly at Bulldog Tours is a WONDERFUL tour guide!

We took the VIP Ghost Tour that took us inside a cemetery and the dungeon and loved every minute of it! It was spooky and very informative! Jack Kelly is a great story teller! We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Not a good idea .Walking on 250 to 300 yr or brick streets and streets paved with river rock might be considered dangerous.
