Thanks! WHERE WILL I BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF? • OPTION #1) HOTEL PICKUP - Most guests are picked up at their hotel, which they can choose from the dropdown list while checking out online during the booking process - full hotel list can also be found on Infinite Oregon Tours' F.A.Q.'s (Frequently Asked Questions) section on our website. In addition to our default pickup location (see option #2 below), we offer pick-ups at approximately 40+ hotels within the downtown area and on the East side of the Willamette river near the Convention Center. The default pickup location listed below (option 2) is ALWAYS available to ALL guests for ALL tours. • OPTION #2) DEFAULT PICKUP LOCATION: SOUTH WATERFRONT PARK ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. Our central (default) location for pick-ups and drop-offs is in South Waterfront Park at the intersection of SW River Dr. and SW Montgomery St, with the exact pick-up location being on the north side of the traffic round-about circle along the pedestrian walkway adjacent to Riverplace Marina. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SELECT A HOTEL? - If you do NOT communicate or select your specific hotel when you make your reservation we will assume we will be picking you up at our default pickup location. ADDRESS: 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify us (during the booking checkout process) if they are staying at one of our pickup hotels. Please email us at infiniteoregontours@gmail.com or wait for your confirmation text from your guide the night before your tour if you have any further questions (guides can answer pickup questions) and will text you usually before 8:00pm the night before your tour. Thanks! TOUR VEHICLE (VAN): Your tour vehicle will most likely be a white high-roof Ford Transit 13-passenger van or a mini-van or SUV in some cases (which we'll communicate to you the night before via text from your guide). Your guide will be wearing a big smile and will probably have a clipboard in his or her hand. PARKING: If you are driving your own vehicle to the default pickup location, there is a public parking garage called THE DOUGLAS GARAGE available just a block or so away at: 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. There are several other parking garages within about a 5-10 minute walk if needed. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND/OR BRING ON THE TOUR? Due to the unpredictable and ever-changing weather in this area, we strongly suggest that you check the upcoming forecast for the locations you will be visiting the morning of the tour. By doing so, you will be able to better prepare, bringing extra layers, rain gear and appropriate footwear as needed. For tours involving short walks/hikes, we recommend comfortable walking shoes and layered outerwear that can be easily applied or removed during the outing. It’s worthy of note that the Oregon Coast is often 15-30 degrees cooler than temperatures in Portland (even in the summer). Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge in fall, winter or early spring can also require warm winter jackets or rain jackets (gloves & warm hats are always a good idea too!). Bottom line is it’s always a good idea to bring a jacket in Oregon regardless of season. CAN I BRING A BAG? A small day pack (very small backpack), camera bag, purse or tote bag are fine in the van as long as they can fit by your feet, but we cannot accommodate large suitcases as there is no luggage space or trunk in the tour van. Please call us before the tour if you have any questions. Depending on the group size for PRIVATE TOURS we CAN accommodate large suitcases (which will be placed in some of the passenger seating areas). COFFEE & RESTROOM (toilet) at default pickup location: There is a small coffee and pastry shop called "Our Spot PDX" (1816 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201) on the west side of SW River Dr. (on the side closest to the river) as well as a public restroom next to the coffee shop for your convenience. If you arrive very early with enough time for breakfast or want to explore the riverfront, there is also a charming cafe called "The Little River Cafe" (315 S Montgomery St #310) approximately a 2-minute walk north along the pedestrian walkway along the Willamette River. Please still be ready at the default pickup stop 30 minutes BEFORE official tour departure time. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Portland is lucky to enjoy a wonderful public transportation system called TriMet that utilizes 3 forms of transport: public buses, street cars and a high speed light rail system called MAX. You can go directly to their TRIP PLANNER WEBSITE or download their app to your smartphone and it’s very easy to navigate around the city. Our general default tour pick-up location South Waterfront Park is a 3-minute walk from the nearest public bus stop, a 6-minute walk from the nearest streetcar stop and a 10-minute walk from the nearest MAX (lighttrail) station. Many guests choose to utilize Lyft or Uber to arrive at the general pickup location as it's the easiest and fastest and time can be of the essence in the morning before your tour departs. For further questions, please consult our FAQ's link on our website or send us an email or call our office for further questions. Thanks and happy touring! CANCELLATION POLICY: If a guest cancels 24 hours BEFORE the tour departure time they will receive a full 100% refund. If a guest cancels a tour LESS THAN 24 hours from the tour departure time the guest will not receive a refund, but we will do our best to accommodate the guest on a future tour of equal or lesser value, depending upon availability. If we (Infinite Oregon Tours) need to cancel a tour due to inclement weather, road closures, high winds, unforeseen safety circumstances or otherwise, the guest will receive a full 100% refund. Please email us or call us if you have any questions. Thank you!

Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 926sumab0 contributionsLoveeeeee it!!!!Had a great time. Guides are very friendly and patient. It was my first time travelled alone kinda nervous but turned out pretty good. Great experience I can say! Loved it.Written 27 November 2024
- Florida-PB0 contributionsWho knew Oregon was so beautiful! The day started well and ended on a high note! Jim was our driver and our guide. He picked us up at the Benson Hotel which was as AMAZING as JIm. From the start, he was very personable, knowledgeable, and entertaining. the tour was such fun! Hiking, photos, and memories of the day are the key take aways here. The preserve store and the short stop at the Timeberline Lodge was a fun visit for libations , and i just forgot to grab pictures of the AX used in the Shining Film. Highly recommend this tour in a small group. We covered a lot of area during our fun day! Who knew Oregon was so beautiful! Thanks for the memoriesWritten 16 November 2024
- Jessica B0 contributions10/10 best tour everJim was the best tour guide ever. So knowledgeable and friendly. He even helped me get a photo with the ‘Here’s Johnny’ axe! Highly recommend this tour.Written 9 November 2024
- BarbaraL42310 contributionsHighly suggest this half-day tripThis was a great tour. Fortunately, it was a nice sunny day. We got to see several waterfalls. Riley was amazing! I loved his energy and personality and he was very informative.Written 6 November 2024
- edithaz20170 contributionsWonderful comprehensive tour. This is a wonderful morning tour of Portland. Our guide was great and we covered thoroughly all the unique neighborhoods and quadrants of the city. He also made a point to stop and show us things that are “hidden” if you don’t know about them!Written 31 October 2024
- Betsy P0 contributionsExcellent way to see Columbia Gorge waterfalls and learn a lot about Portland as well. I like van rather than bus tours.Tour guide was good, very informative about Portland as well as Columbia Gorge. Van picked me up on time at my hotel and luckily I was offered the front passenger seat, so very comfortable for me, and I was able to have great views from front and side windows. We saw the most interesting and biggest waterfalls and had short walks to get up close. We were lucky that whenever it rained more than just a little, we seemed to always be in the van en route to a waterfall, so when outside to walk to best views, it was hardly raining (or not raining at all).Written 29 October 2024
- KathleenK330 contributionsGreat tripI enjoyed the trip very much. The views were amazing and Riley had some great information to share with us. I had never been to the Pacific Northwest and this was a not to be missed opportunity.Written 28 October 2024
- Mimmy0 contributionsGreat fun and awesome scenery! The Gorge Waterfalls tour was one of the favorite things we did on our trip. Vista House and the waterfalls alone made for a great tour, but guide Ryan added to the fun. He was prompt, polite, personable, and prepared with snacks and water. He was also knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area. Our photos are amazing! I'd like to go back and do a full day tour that includes Mt. Hood.Written 28 October 2024
- lorrir7530 contributionsThis tour well worth your time and money!Amazing sights and Jim was a great tour guide. He shared so much about the destinations but also interesting facts about Portland and Oregon as well as recommendations about other attractions and restaurants. Loved seeing this beautiful part of Oregon and well worth the time. Highly recommend.Written 26 October 2024
- Michelle S0 contributionsThe tour guide Jim was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about Portland and the area we were visiting. I would recommend.Fun, knowledgeable, and very creative. The views were fantastic. The mountains were amazing. The weather held out for the day.Written 25 October 2024
- KathyM7810 contributionsOregon Falls and Mt Hood full day in natureAll the sites and information were great! We had a full van, even had to sit apart, but everyone was friendly. We stopped a lot and went at a slow pace. They drove us around Hood River to show us all the places to eat. And several of us ate together. Loved the falls, especially Multnomah. Loved Timberline Lodge.Written 18 October 2024
- KATTTYYYYYY0 contributionsScenic drive along Columbia river. Gorgeous!Nice day! Very well organized. Everything was on time. The organizer offered water and snacks. We very lucky with weather. Thank you! RecommendWritten 13 October 2024

- alexissP6407JI0 contributionsGreat Tour!Excellent tour!! Great guide! Loved the experience we had. We saw a lot of Portland with great stories and information.Written 13 October 2024
- E1255LYrobing0 contributionsBook This Tour!Anyone with a map and a car could find the natural beauty of the waterfalls of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. However, the true reason you should book this tour is to truly understand why these waterfalls are so spectacular. Enter Ryan, our effortlessly knowledgeable and friendly drive and guide from Infinite Oregon Tours. He weaved the million year story of how these wonders came to be as easily and enjoyably as a conversation with your smartest buddy….who also happens to be a geologist and ecologist. Logistically, booking this tour freed us from dealing with traffic and parking, which at several stops was clearly limited. Ryan communicated before the tour with tips on what to bring, the van was clean and comfortable, there were snacks and water, and everyone on the tour clearly enjoyed the experience. This half day tour gave enough of a taste of the beauty of the Oregon scenic beauty to leave you wanting more. We’ll be back!Written 29 September 2024

The tour was really great for the reasons that we went to 3 beautiful beaches and to the town at Cannon Beach. Our guide was Adam, who was very friendly, informative and told interesting stories. However, I only gave 3 stars because: our tour was supposed to last until 4:00 (leave coast at 4 PM per TJ, the tour company manager). We were told by Adam we’re leaving at 3:00 (we only got there at 10:45 and there was an hour for lunch) so our ‘full day tour’ was only 3 hours 15 minutes. The problem with leaving an hour early is that we didn’t get to spend any time in the really neat town; we had an hour for lunch and then no more time to check out the town; the extra hour would have been huge. The people on the tour had never been there before, and may not ever get there again. Some of us traveled a long way to get to Oregon, plus we paid $129 for the tour. Adam said 2 people had dinner reservations at 6:00; instead of telling them to push back the time, he said we had to leave at 3:00, so the other 11 people on the tour lost an HUGE hour. We later learned that Adam had a private tour that he was doing early the next morning, and whatever he was doing that Saturday evening, so apparently that was the real reason we left early. The tour guides get paid the same amount of money whether they cut the tour short or not, and I assume the town is boring to him. Everyone was disappointed that we didn’t have time to explore the town. Also, I booked the Saturday tour because it was the only one scheduled that week, and TJ waitlisted me for any other day for the same tour if it’s offered, and he told me he would call me if they offer another tour. There was another tour offered on Monday, but TJ didn’t contact me, so I missed all the great events that are only on Saturdays in Portland, which was another big disappointment for me.

What a wonderful tour to the Oregon Coast!! The forecast indicated dry weather, a few clouds and fairly warm temperatures for a November day. The group was small, a creative and young crew fill with stories and sense of adventure.
During the day, we strolled through various beaches, forests and hunted for high view points for the best shots. The views were breathtaking, moments taken out of a movie scene! I was stunned by the fog, which casually elevated the mystic yet bright scenary.
TJ walked us through secret trails and gave us unexpected insights about the fauna, flora, geology and history of every single place we went to. He was incredibly insightful, friendly and engaged very well with the crowd. After a long day and a total of 8K steps, we watched the sunset at the beach near Hug Point. We returned to Portland straight after. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

We booked an all-day Oregon Coast tour with TJ. It was fantastic! TJ was full of energy and knowledge, being 5th generation from the area. We were traveling with two senior citizens and he kept the pace reasonable and ensured we had frequent rest stops. He even provided water and some snacks. My husband is a bit of a shutterbug and TJ found some great vantage points for him to get some good pictures. On the way back to Portland, we had some great conversations and it felt like we made a new friend. This was one of our favorite tours that we took during our time in the Pacific NW thanks to TJ.

Since Portland was experiencing extreme high temps, our guide Ryan tried to limit stops that involved extended hiking to some of the coast stops. He made up for the change in plans by adding photo stops to the tour. All passengers appreciated the changes!! The coastline was amazing and our fantastic photos will provide many opportunities for oil paintings. Ryan was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable of the area and provided chilled water for us throughout the day.
I would highly recommend this tour!!

I was unable to make my original tour date but the owner TJ personally called me unprompted and got me rebooked. He was completely understanding of my circumstances and extremely accommodating. Also, Adam the tour guide has no equal in his knowledge of Oregon and his ability to engage with the customers. His running commentary throughout the day was like listening to a book on tape complete with chapters and cliff hangers. The tour itself also shows some of the most beautiful coastlines. I highly recommend signing up for this tour!

This tour allows participants to take a series of short hikes on the beach, in the woods, and to vista points of the coast. It is led by a multi-generational Oregonian who knows the area and who shares his knowledge in an engaging way. TJ is sensitive to needs of tour members, down to scheduling convenient restroom stops and giving descriptions of eating places at the lunch stop. We count ourselves fortunate to have scheduled a second trip with him shortly after this one.

The best part of the tour was listening to Adam (tour guide) about the history of Portland. He was full of knowledge, very entertaining, humorous and included all the travelers by name in his recital. He was an amazing tour guide.

Jim was a fantastic guide. He times every stop to get the best possible circumstances (tides, weather, crowds, etc.). He even took us to a bonus stop! Snacks, water, and restrooms are plentifully. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Our date just happened to have low tide and sunshine timed perfectly to allow for amazing views and photos. If you want to avoid the cost of a rental car and the hassle of parking, and you want some inside knowledge and cool stories- book this trip; it is well worth it.

Jim was knowledgeable in the area, history and other great places to visit in Oregon. He could recommend all good places to eat in the city and outside of the city, which was so helpful for the new visitor like us. We had a great time at the ocean side. I highly recommend this tour.

Jim from Infinite Oregon Tours did a fantastic job. He was humorous, polite, knowledgeable, and engaging as we toured the Oregon Coast. He also provided trustworthy recommendations without being pushy (chocolate shop in Cannon Beach is a must!). There were plenty of snacks and water in the van. A jam packed, but wonderful day along the coast.
