Portland Food Carts and Neighborhoods Tour
From US$89.00
Overview
Delve into Portland’s rich food culture on this guided tour, which allows you to experience a wide range of city highlights and eclectic food vendors in just a few hours. Enjoy commentary from your guide as you discover the city’s quintessential neighborhoods in an air-conditioned van—stopping to explore on foot, sample cuisine from four different food carts, and meet local culinary artisans.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland, where your tour begins. Board an air-conditioned van and journey to the city’s vibrant Mississippi neighborhood. Once there, peruse local restaurants and music venues, stopping to sample a few bites at a food cart (aka a “food pod”).
Next, head to the colorful Alberta Arts District. Learn about the history of early Portland settlers and stop to sample food at one of the neighborhood’s more eclectic food pods.
Hop back in the van and enjoy views of Portland’s green spaces as you head to Belmont, where you sample from a food cart that uses locally farmed ingredients.
Finally, travel to the southeast Division district, where you explore one of America’s best-known foodie streets and sample cuisine from yet another food cart.
Your tour ends back at the original starting point in downtown Portland.
