About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- monicapP7084TF0 contributionsMuch More Than a Tour GuidePeter was so very knowledgeable about the area. Unfortunately I took a tumble and ended up in the hospital that morning. While I took an ambulance ride, Peter took my husband to the hospital and stayed as long as we needed. He then took my husband back to pick up our car near the Pioneer Courthouse Square. I can't say enough good things about Peter. He helped us out so much on a very stressful day for us. He offered to do anything that we needed. He was so much more than a tour guide and we will never forget his kindness.Written 29 September 2024

This is a great tour to see the waterfalls and hear all about some Portland history as well. Angela was our tour guide, and she was wonderful! They do supply water and are great at getting the best photos. She was great with recommendations on other things to do around Portland as well. It is well worth the cost to avoid the parking issues and driving. I would highly recommend these tours. I wish that we had booked more while we were there!

If you are considering taking this tour, stop what you are doing and book it. This was an amazingly beautiful experience to so many surreal waterfalls. Was in town for a conference and booked this solo, it was worth 10x what I paid. Jeff was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, funny and courteous. So lucky to experience the beauty of Oregon. Forever grateful.

Beautiful falls, and spectacular nature! Our guide, Cam, was so knowledgeable with many fun facts!!! Our group was small and not in a hurry, so she took us to some of the other falls too. We did not expect to learn so much about the history of the area the ecology. We had a massive view of the George too, a little foggy, but still beautiful!

Absolutely wonderful! Well worth the cost. Much better than driving and trying to park on your own. What really made the trip outstanding was our guide Adam Thorn Smith. He was highly knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. He showed us so much than just the Multnomah Falls!

Carrie was a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. She was engaged and eager to share what she knew about the area. The spaces visited were absolutely beautiful. Well worth the time if you only have a few hours to explore! We were visiting for a conference and wanted to make the most of our trip. This tour was perfect for that.
Customer service was excellent. We received a message about an earlier pick up that didn’t work for us and she was happy to change her schedule to fit ours. Excellent experience, highly recommend!

Fortunately we had a perfect Sunday afternoon touring alongside the Columbia River, and taking in the majestic water falls along the way. John, our Driver/Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. He can spin a good story. Definitely a good investment of time.

Excellent guide, comfortable van, prompt service. The falls were magnificent. Need to be able to climb stairs /navigate ramps to get to most of the waterfalls on this tour. The view from Vista House overlooking the Columbia River was spectacular. Unfortunately, the house was closed for the day as it runs on volunteers and no one was available. Some of the roads on this tour are very hairpin so beware if you have motion sickness issues. Very enjoyable 3 hours.

Can someone tell me where to get on the bus? What hotels can be pick up?
Written 10 March 2020
We definitely want to see the Multnomah Falls, but the description indicates it may not be a definite stop. What is the deciding factor on whether the tour stops there?
Written 28 July 2019
The tour definitely stops at the Falls but depending on how long you stop there will determine if you can stop a other falls. It is the BEST tour and the Falls are gorgeous
Written 13 August 2019
Do we get to get off bus at stops? And if yes, how much time are we allowed?
Written 1 June 2019
Yes, they stop and allow you to get out/walk around for a while at each stop. Typically you’re permitted 20-40 minutes at each location - plenty of time to walk a little, stretch your legs, and take pictures.

Would this tour be "do-able" for someone using a walker?
Written 2 May 2019
There are steep elevations and group tours are on a fast-paced timeline. I would recommend a private tour and expect limitations with a walker.
