I could not have been happier with this tour. Exceeded my expectations in every way!
We took the Mt. Hood and Multnomah Falls Loop Tour and our guide, John, was wonderful. He took us to extra spots not listed on the site's itinerary and made every location both educational and fun. And, we ended up having perfect weather amidst a rather cold and dreary week, which made the experience ten times more memorable!
The tour company itself was also extremely responsive in answering my many questions prior to booking the tour, which is one of the main reasons I ultimately went with them. Highly recommend!

We chose the private tour and loved it! The guide asked us about what we were really interested in seeing and tailored it to what we wanted to see and do. Our guide was knowledgeable and made fantastic suggestions about routes to see the best views. This is a wonderful option, especially since car rentals, and parking, are difficult right now.

This trip was fantastic! Eduardo, our guide, was friendly, very knowledgeable, and showed us the best sites that Oregon had to offer! Each stop had time to see everything around you, visit any gift shops, take a quick bathroom break, and take some pictures. Our tour group left on a Tuesday, but there were only 5 of us, which was nice. Hood River was a highlight of the tour, the city is ranked very highly in the US, and our lunch at a vegan restaurant, stop at one of the best toy stores I've ever been to, and casual stroll around town was extremely enjoyable and left us wanting more! Would highly recommend this tour. It left at 8:45 am from our hotel and returned around 5:15 pm, the drivers ask at the beginning of the tour if anyone needs to come back before 5:00 so that they can plan for traffic. The tour also included complimentary water bottles for anyone who got thirsty, and a stop at an ice cream store near one of the many vineyards we passed.

The weather gods gave us a beautiful blue sky day! I was picked up at the hotel on time and we had a nice group of folks. John our guide was excellent- friendly, knowledgeable, and offered to take pics for us so we didn't risk losing a phone. We had several stops, including waterfalls, a nice 1 hour lunch in Hood River, Columbia River Gorge and Scenic Highway, Rowena Crest, great views of Mt. Hood, and past by alpaca farms and lots of orchards/wineries. We had a little time to walk around Timberline Lodge and John gave us the short history lesson on it. I grabbed a hot chocolate from there to go. On the way back to Portland John stopped us at the town of Sandy for another scenic view of Mt. Hood and to stretch the legs. It was a full day and worth the money.

The Mt Hood trip from Portland was a memorable experience. This trip was a gift from our daughter to celebrate our 31st anniversary. Phil was an excellent tour guide and driver. He gave us background information on the area and it’s history. We highly recommend this trip for people who want to experience Oregon and learn about the area. The sights were spectacular and Phil kindly took photos fir everyone on the tour.

My husband and I participated in this tour as part of our first visit to the area. It was a great way to see a lot of what Oregon has to offer in a limited amount of time. Angela was our guide and was amazing. She shared information about everything you could think of - flora & fauna, history, geography, geology, recommendations for places to eat, hikes to take, etc. - all while driving a big van with 9 people in it. It was a long day with a good deal of it spent in the van, but we made 10 stops, some longer than others, with an hour for lunch in Hood River (with plenty of restaurant recommendations given). There were many beautiful vistas (as well as an awesome fruit stand!), and Angela knew the best places to stop and was more than happy to take pictures for us. Water was provided, and a couple of the stops had places you could buy snacks if so inclined. All in all, this was an excellent tour.

It was beautiful and learning experience. Jeff, our driver has a nice personality, knows a lot of information about all the places we visited, safe driver, and the Van is very comfortable.
I decided to do this trip to the Multnomach Falls and Hood River, after seeing my daughter's pictures at the Fall.
I was lucky to be part of a nice group of people, since I am traveling alone.
I highly recommend this tour.

My daughter recently moved to Portland after living with us in California for 25+ years. We came to visit and decided to take a one-day tour of the outskirts of Portland would be valuable. The tour was supposed to pick us up at in front of our hotel and we found out the road was going to be temporally close. We reach out the afternoon before and the tour people resolved the issue lickety split. Portland had had snow the night before our trip so we were unable to get to Mt. Hood. That said our guide - Phil - made the day so special and we got to see so much majestic scenery I think we all forgot about Mt. Hood. Phil was just a warm, welcoming guide who had a WEALTH of information about all the places we drove to and by. He really made the trip awesome. Not to mention all the greenery, all the sights, all the waterfalls we got to see. It really was a wonderful addition to our time with our daughter. I recommend this tour highly!!

Not a good value for money. Phill, the tour guide was great. The bus was comfortable but we spent majority of our time just driving around. Very little time spent at the actual spots. Spots are great but couldn’t spend more that 20-30 mins anywhere … pretty steep I must say

We visit many stops on this tour and in order to do so we do have time limits at each location. We do offer private options of our tours and if you book a private tour you can adjust the itinerary to fit your wants. It sounds like it might be a good idea for you to book a private tour in the future.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide, Jeff, was very knowledgeable of everything Oregon. He included a lot of detail. The guide makes the difference in any of these tours! The Columbia River and Mt. Hood area was definitely a great tour. We had great weather and it is so impressive that this state is environmentally focused. In the state I live, people never are careful with trash or recycling. Many states could learn from Oregon.

Hi, I am about to book this trip for this Friday and was wondering if we could stop by Trillium Lake. I’m expecting the weather to be perfect for a visit. :)

Somewhere downtown/main area of shopping and restaurants.

The "What to Expect" section is slightly different than the "Itinerary" section. Wanted to confirm what was included in this tour, i.e. stopping in Hood River, etc.
Written 11 July 2022
I think the reason it's not exactly the same is because some of the sites depend on the time of year and the weather. We went in March so the fruit stands were not open yet and we also did not go to Trillium Lake (they mention that's a summer thing) and we did also not go to Timberline Ridge because it was snowing and the roads were bad. BUT, they did fill the day up with other sights in the area and it was a good day. We did go to Hood River for lunch but the restaurants were slow and understaffed in March so we only had a very little time after lunch to shop/look around. We took two tours with them in two consecutive days and both were excellent. Both guides did mention that they have alternate plans for when the weather doesn't cooperate.
