Small-Group Chicago Loop Food Walking Tour
From US$55.07
Overview
Stroll around the Loop with a guide, discovering Chicago's lively food scene, on this small-group walking tour. Learn about the city's history and culinary heritage from your guide as you stop at favorite local eateries for tastings of four classic dishes. Sample signature bites such as deep-dish pizza, and have the option to visit the Art Institute of Chicago with free admission after your tour ends.
What to Expect
Make your own way to a centrally located meeting point to join your guide.

Start your food tour by snacking on hearty deep-dish pizza, and learn how Chicago’s pizza differs from others. Continue to a historic spot that serves up dipped Italian beef sandwiches, and then try a Chicago-style hot dog, traditionally accompanied by seven specific toppings (never ketchup). Nibble a savory and sweet “secret food” beloved in the Windy City, and top it off with dessert at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Along the way, stop into a bar that was founded in 1898 and survived the Prohibition era, see some of Chicago's renowned public art, and stroll through Millennium Park to the Chicago Art Institute, where you can view the city from an outdoor terrace.

If you wish, go into the Art Institute on your own directly after the tour with admission provided by your guide.

The tour was fun and our guide, Blair, was amazing. Blair was knowledgeable too as he had plenty of Chi-town facts to share with everyone along the tour.

I don't know either... I'd suggest contacting the company and asking them directly. They may be able to shed some light on it.
