    Good experience
First time doing a food tour. Chose Chicago for the food tour experience to be sure we didn’t miss any of the well-known tasty’s Chicago is known for. Teens were not interested in guides narrative about foods. Though they gobbled up the food. So all good!

    Food Tour
Agi was our tour guide on the ‘Chicago-Style’ bucket list tour and her passion for food and the city made our 3 hours fantastic! We ate at some great venues and Agi knowledge of the food and the city itself was superb. I would highly recommend.

    Great Chicago food tour
There was great variety in this tour Including different types of food as well and historic information about several places in Chicago. Colleen was very knowledgeable and personable. The pizza was outstanding. The brownies from Goddess and the Baker were decadent. Popcorn and a Chicago style hotdog were also part of the Tour. Chocolate from Fannie May was a wonderful treat. Brat from Bergdorf’s was a great way to end the tour. I would recommend this walking tour to anyone who is interested in variety of good/great food and a personable tour guide!

Good Tour Guide, food was average
It was fun meeting new people and the tour guide showed us some things I probably would have missed if I tried to find on my own. She showed us the pedway system and some other things that I didn’t see on my own. The food was very average to me but the experience was fun and I would definitely try food tours in other cities I go to. NYC pizza definitely wins the pizza war.

    Food Tour!
Nice 3 hour walking and eating tour around downtown Chicago. Started in the Gold Coast area we had deep dish pizza, a Chicago style hotdog, a deep dish cookie, cheeseburger from Billy Goat tavern, chocolate and popcorn. Guide Annie was great and we had a very small group of 6 people which made for a great experience.

Evening tour while attending a conference
This tour was a great way for a group of friends to connect while visiting Chicago for a conference. The tour started at 4:00pm and was close to the conference “host hotels”. Our guide, Colleen, was funny and knowledgeable and answered all of our crazy questions about Chicago. We are a lot! Go hungry! But there was quite a bit of walking between courses, so that helped the digestion process. Definitely recommend this particular tour because it accommodates the schedules of those of us tied up in lectures and presentations during the day-time hours.

If you love food, do this tour!
Fabulous overview of the great tastes Chicago has to offer! Definitely come hungry, you will not be disappointed with the food included on this tour! You'll stop at Pizano's for some classic deep dish pizza, Al's for some hot Italian beef sandwiches, Goddess & the Baker for a decadent fishy brownie, Fannie Mays for some chocolates, Chicago Kernel for some popcorn and the Berghoff for some authentic German fare. Elizabeth was a fantastic guide, super knowledgable and friendly! The tour was a perfect balance of delicious food, history and plenty of time to walk off the food! Would definitely recommend this tour if you're visiting Chicago!

Had a great tour with Elizabeth. I think they started with the best - deep dish pizza but the middle was pretty good too with Chicago dogs - oh and certainly didn't mind dessert at Fannie Mae's (and the early dessert of More cupcakes). Ok, it was all pretty darn good. Although..maybe a different popcorn supplier would be a good change. Along the walk Elizabeth pointed out some of the other buildings and points of interest. So it wasn't all just about food which helped burn brain calories to even out all of the food calories.

Suzy was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job of not only taking us from location to location but giving us a history of the locations that we were eating at. The short walk in between locations was helpful so you were not too full to eat at the next location!

We enjoyed learning a lot about Chicago’s history while enjoying tasting some great food. Pizza and hotdogs were tops! At The Billy Goat Tavern it was fun to relive the Cheezborger, Cheezborger skit from SNL. We were stuffed by the end. I wouldn’t have minded a faster paced walk with a more circuitous route to help wear off some calories - some of the stops seemed a bit longer than necessary. Overall though, I would recommend this tour. Come with an appetite!

I went on this tour this past weekend and it was an amazing experience . Colleen was my guide, and I am not sure if I would’ve had the same experience with another guide. She was very energetic, informative, and engaging. She threw in tidbits of Chicago history, as well as little known facts. She was able to not only suggest/recommend different restaurants/bars in the area, but also tell why she liked one more than the other. She was able to answer all questions, and also was patient with me as I tried to accommodate Chicago’s strict parking rules, and having to leave the tour twice to feed the meter/charge my phone :/. Thanks for all your help Colleen!!! A+++
